Eyemouth
The pretty port of Eyemouth is still bustling with fishing activity as it has been for centuries, and it’s a lovely place to spend a short break to Scotland. The maritime heritage of this town is strong. Gunsgreen House once a famous merchants home, is open to the public and now a popular place to visit on any trip here. The Eyemouth Museum is also an interesting spot and home to the wonderful Eyemouth Tapestry which was made in commemoration of the Great East Coast Fishing disaster in 1881.
