What our customers are saying about our Large Cottages In Kessingland To Rent.

"Property itself is lovely, but the Hot Tub didnt work properly & and the call out engineer couldnt fix it. Only two Tea Towels were provided to cater for eight adults and three childrens needs. Three slabs on the edge of the garden step were loose, the water system had two pumps but made a hell of a noise in the master bedroom & family bathroom so after 7pm when the children went to bed we had to use showers at a much lower flow rate as we had to turn the pumps off. Two mobile BBQ’s provided but both had to be cleaned before we could use them. Family bathroom door lock is faulty and a couple of our party got locked in. Property is nicely situated for location amenities, Made in Africa Zoo is at the end of the road which is well worth a visit particularly for the younger generation. The family loved the Cinema Room and Games room. The kids loved the large garden to run around in safely. Nb beware the lower tray in the dishwasher which has to be fully inserted manually otherwise crockery will tip up and break. Would i revisit, most definately if the above issues were resolved."

"This could be a lovely little holiday retreat if you want to travel back to the 1970's. The decor is in desperate need of updating, including the uncomfy pvc sofas. We were aware of a lack of shower due to poor water pressure, however the cottage has better water pressure than we have at home and we have a shower! We ordered our shopping to be delivered only to discover no freezer! 50 quids worth of food binned, something a self catering property that sleeps 6 must have! If nothing else the place needs a real good clean, cobwebs and hazy mirrors are all too common. Dont worry about taking your alarm either! The neighbour and his motorbike make sure you're up at 7 on the dot so there is no fear of sleeping iThat said The location is good, the local pubs and take aways are all good. The garden is lovely and was great for the dog. Good place to use purely as a base but thats about it."

"This property is an absolute gem! We were 5 adults and 4 children, who ranged in age from 12 down to 5. Everybody agreed that the beds were really comfortable and that there was something for everybody. The cinema was a hit! The hot tub was well-used, especially by the children. The games room provided an opportunity for the adults and older children to have tournaments. The garden gave lots of space for blowing bubbles and playing with space hoppers and sumo suits! And the beach was just 5 minutes' walk away with Africa Alive just a 5 minute drive away. Lowestoft and Yarmouth provided easy access for seaside entertainment."

"Quite simply, for a large family or multiple families, this is the perfect citrate. Large and spacious, clean and well-equipped, it was the perfect base to explore the area, with the added benefit of the beach and a great pub only a short walk away. There are some incredible features: the cinema room is amazing, the games room is a real bonus and the hot tub is great fun.Everything you could need is provided, and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. There 10 of us and two dogs, and we thoroughly enjoyed a memorable Christmas break. We would not hesitate to recommend this cottage."

"LOVELY BOATHOUSE, MUCH BETTER THAN OUR LAST VISIT; CLEANER BUT MOST OF THE CROCKERY WAS DIRTY, AS WAS THE KITCHEN SINK. THE EN-SUITE TO THE DOUBLE BEDROOM IS NEVER DRY, IT REALLY NEEDS A MORE EFFICIENT EXTRACTOR FAN, THE ONLY WAY TO CLEAR THE BATHROOM IS TO LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN WHICH THEN MAKES THE BEDROOM DAMP. WE WERE BLESSED WITH BEAUTIFUL WEATHER WHICH IS ALWAYS A BONUS. THE OWNER OF UPSTAIRS/NEXT DOOR IS PLANNING TO RENT OUT AGAIN, SO MAYBE IT WON'T BE THE PEACEFUL QUIET RETREAT THAT IT IS NOW, AS IT SLEEPS 7 PEOPLE, AND SO THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT WE MAY NOT GO BACK"
