"Twice yearly visit to West Cornwall to do some walking and catch up with old friends. Weather pretty good for late April but more sea mist this time than in previous years. Cottage in excellent location - ideal for me as no car, local bus service was regular / reliable with the terminus a minute walk from the cottage if that!Very peaceful location - excellent view from kitchen and back bedroom windows. Have stayed in several different cottages in the past three years in and around Pendeen and St Just - this one the best so far. Only disappointment on arrival no milk in the fridge! - after eight hours of travelling on public transport, the first thing I wanted was a cup of tea! Local shop being 15 minutes walk away - everywhere previously I have stayed there has been a few goodies left, which is a nice touch considering the price of the cottage for a week."

"The main issue with this property is parking. Although the owner states it is only suitable for a small car their is an issue with the resident at no 7. He has flower pots all over his driveway which means any car driver can not get out of their car passenger side they are in the way. The resident at no 7 is a very aggressive man who is rude and very angry. If young girls were staying their they would be frightened. The owner of the holiday property know about this issue but seems to do nothing about this. Most of the people who write in the guest book does state this problem about parking. Please can something be done or printed about the problem with parking. I am a disabled lady and know where does it state in the print that it is not disabled friendly."

"A beautiful cottage which was very welcoming. Very very very clean which was great as we were travelling with a little one and they like to ‘explore’. We had everything we needed and more and it was lovely to curl up on the sofa watching a dvd (nice selection) and the shower is amazing!! The area is beautiful and there is some suitable walks for little legs from the cottage. A gorgeous view of the lighthouse from the smaller bedroom which delighted our little boy. If you do travel to the cottage with a little one a bed guard is a must the second bed is very high luckily we brought our travel cot just in case. Thank you so much for a carefree relaxing stay. We will definitely be booking in the future."

"What a beautiful place! On arrival - cake, biscuits, wine, milk, fresh eggs and delicious Norfolk marmalade! Perfect! Friendly and informative hosts - the Church Tour during Blossom and Yarn Festival was breathtaking - Thank you. We have visited the coast, of course, but found plenty to do locally too. Norwich is a fascinating city and the Cathedral magnificent. A bike ride round Thetford Forest was brilliant, the Broads boat trip amazingly peaceful in spite of numbers of people. Blickling Hall's gardens are fabulous but just sitting out on the patio at 7.00am, and in the evening, was the icing on the cake. Thank you both! We will be back!"

"Our second stay and very enjoyable. A few comments. The teapot should be replaced, it is cracked and potentially unhealthy. Ditto most of the mugs. The wood provided was damp and the wood burner would not function even with new dry woood (we are old hands with such stoves so not us I think). It is inconvenient having no overall thermostat for the cottage, as no adjustment is possible. Also the supply of hot water is pathetic as it runs out quickly. Finally we feel it is unacceptable these days having no containers for or provision for recycling. All your cottages should surely encourage and facilitate recycling!"
