"My biggest disappointment is that this complex of about 14 or more barn extensions which have been newly built, have not been made accessible for disabled people. This made me quite sad in this day and age, it would not have cost anything for the access to have been ramped rather than building one step up into the accommodations as they have. Their response was it is not advertised as disabled friendly, which is quite hurtful to be alienated like this. Once you are in the building it would have been totally accessible then. Also outside there was no drop kerb to get from the accommodations to some of the facilities such as the laundry or the shared garden areas, which could have been easily done, especially at the step of the laundry which has now caused a water logged area directly into the laundry. A drop kerb could have meant that we could access the accommodation through the bedroom at least. Shame no consideration was given in the build for disabled people and young families. There were at least two of us wheelchair users in the complex at the time also families there with prams, who would have found the access valuable. The barn style accommodations were nice, fitted out with Ikea and rooms clean and spacious. Just the towels could have been cleaner. The grounds are being developed around the farm, there are peacocks that were very beautiful, but not so lovely when they are calling throughout the night and your getting little sleep. So if you are ill or need sleep something to consider. Was difficult to find the complex as no sign posts and had to knock on several doors etc. We were not sent an access code etc as gated entrance so stuck outside for a long time. Would stay there again. Nice play area for children on site. Dog charge expensive especially when you have two to pay for and they don't cause very much cleaning. It also states dogs free of charge but this is not the case once you book. The farm is elephant grass farming so not suitable to take your dogs in those fields, quite muddy. There is a normal field adjacent to the buildings."

"Would highly recommend this lovely cottage in excellent quiet location. There was reference on the listing to building works at the rear but we did not hear anything so this was not a concern. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you needed. Comfortable lounge with log burner for cosy evenings, only used once as weather was very good to us. Garden was beautiful and a sun trap, with bbq and outdoor wood burner for the later evening. The owners were welcoming and approachable and there when needed. Great base for exploring the Cotswolds. We even took the train down to London for a day at the National Gallery and a show in the evening. Really enjoyed our time here and will definately be coming back again."

"For us this was the best cottage we have rented in our 23 years of self catering. We really loved it. Alot of places promise welcome packs but never deliver. The home made cake (delicious - my husband had devoured it within the first 2 days), milk and fresh duck/hen eggs - just such a lovely touch. The cottage is beside the owners home (who are very lovely and approachable) but it is still very private with great views over the countryside. Clean, lovely decor and finishes with attention to detail, log fire for the cooler days and loved the sonos system. Great location with easy access to all neighbouring counties and London. Highly recommended. We are fans of this cottage!"

"Lovely small cottage with plenty of character and all the facilities one could want: comfortable bed, excellent shower, well-provided kitchen, quiet country location, and in a great place for sight-seeing (Oxford and Blenheim of course, but also some wonderful NT properties such as Waddesdon, Buscot, Upton an easy drive away - also Kelmscott). Excellent restaurant (The Cinnamon Stick) within 100 yards. Helpful cottage owner very close, to sort out any problems (we had none). And though we sometimes steer clear of cottages which allow dogs (as this one does), we had no need to worry about allergies - the house was immaculately clean, with not a dog hair in sight."

"We booked S16097 for a girls 50th celebratory weekend away and had a wonderful time. The cottage is perfect - very spacious (more than you would think from the photos) and felt very luxurious! wonderful comfy beds and duvets! Well appointed kitchen with everything you need and spacious dining room and two reception rooms - there were only 6 of us and so we had loads of space.Lower Slaughter is lovely and very pretty and there is so much to do in the local areas - we will have to return! If I had to be picky the only thing I would improve would be the wifi which was a bit hit and miss!"
