"The cottage was lovely and very well equipped, a last minute decision to take our grandchildren caused no problems and they were thrilled with being able to play with the owners dog or venture to the stepping stones on their own (still in our view from the quay or cottage. The quay was a delight, something going on most nights, from bar-b-ques to crabbing to Morris Dancing. One morning we even saw the local pack of hounds walk through. every one was friendly and there s plenty to see without travelling miles. The toll bridge at Pembroke Dock gives a stunning view. Carew castle and Mill well worth a visit. Pirates Café at Amroth for brilliant fish and chips to take away or eat in, small car park just round back is free.If you use big car park in Tenby don't waste time queueing for machines by entrance there are two more in top left hand corner and another over otherside (no one seemed aware of this). Area abit lacking in shops best we found was Co Op in Kilgetty, been there years and still as good. Folly Farm is brilliant for kids being farm animals and zoo and adventure playground, plenty of room to eat your own food as well (indoors and out). If you like nightlife this is not for your but if you want peace and quiet its brilliant like a step back in time. The owners are very friendly without making you feel uncomfortable and even offer a cooked evening meal if you want it."

"We enjoyed a relaxing holiday in Pembrokeshire when we visited in May. We previously researched the location as we did not want to be in Tenby as we wanted to have the freedom to come and go as we pleased without worrying about parking or losing our space as has happened when we previously stayed in Tenby and were scared to move our car once we had a space as we didn’t want to lose it. So, on this holiday in Pembrokeshire we needed to be close to Tenby, Saundersfoot, which we love, but not in it, so to speak. We were also able to take advantage of the local bus service with the bus stop being just yards from the apartment, enabling us to leave the car and have a drink too. Location, perfect. The Apartment itself? Absolutely superb with everything there for us. We were really surprised how much space there is, and the furnishings and décor has been done to a very high standard with lots of thought clearly having gone into it. Very comfortable, very homely, lots of nice little touches here and there which we really appreciated. We shall return. Thank you"

"Stayed here for half term week as visiting friends and family in the area. Gorgeous apartment with everything we could possibly need. We loved the fact that spacious hallway on entering where we could dump all our coats, boots and brollies etc and also had a fab notice board with lots local info. Most importantly for a winter break was comfortable beds and nice and warm. We ate in a few times and kitchen well equipped with all we needed. Anyone wanting to stay in there are games to play and plenty of films and box sets to keep you entertained. We are cyclists and there is enough space for bikes in the entry area so safe and secure and lots of routes to cycle nearby. We parked right outside which is ace as can be a problem in some properties. We had a couple of queries regarding checking out and needed some extra towels and the hosts couldnt have been more accommodating. Back here in summer time and cant wait. "

"While we expected a small cottage, we were surprised at just how very small it was, with next to no storage space. The literature really did not prepare us for that. The bedroom was so small that it was very difficult to manoeuvre round the bed. The door to the tiny ensuite could only be partly opened, and the door itself could not be closed at all - it badly needs planing a bit off the edge to enable it to fit. My main complaint is with Sykes Cottages. The endless emails - several every week since we made our booking - have become very irritating and, I would have thought, counterproductive for the company. Having booked one holiday with you this year I am hardly likely to want to book others with you immediately. I have never encountered this irritation from any other company that I have ever booked with, and I do not intend ever to book with you again."

"We had a fantastic stay in this superb apartment which we found was situated perfectly for everywhere we wanted to visit, close to all the main beaches like Tenby, Saundersfoot and Wisemans Bridge. The parking outside the front door was brilliant and the lovely big entrance hall meant we could leave all our mucky boots and coats downstairs. The living space is huge, and we were really surprised at how big and comfortable the apartment is. The huge sofa and the furnishings are so comfortable, and our son loved his cuddly throw and special lights in his bedroom. Although we visited in January, we were always cosy & warm when we were in and I would recommend this property to anyone considering a holiday in this area. Steve & Linda the owners were really friendly and nice when we saw them, and they gave us some good tips and places to visit. "
