"In a lovely peaceful area ,a little too remote for us but we can imagine a lot of people wanting to escape the rat race will like that, its central for driving to a lot of resorts and places of interest and close to Canterbury The garden is lovely and secure ,our dogs enjoyed it ! The hot tub was great and as the other cottage was empty at some points during our week stay so we had it to ourselves .The cottage we found to be very basic and quite small and looks a little "tired" in places .We are walkers and there were lots of footpaths close by.... in other cottages we have stayed there has been lots of info on local walks but there were no maps or walking information here However we had a terrific holiday overall"

"We enjoyed a peaceful family Christmas at S49805. Although the bedrooms are quite small, there was plenty of room for six adults and the communal areas are very spacious. The rural location was beautiful with incredible views of the surrounding countryside from the windows. The only sounds were birds and the ducks from the pond next door. The cottage was very well equipped with everything needed for an enjoyable stay - I managed to cook a full Christmas dinner for six in the kitchen without any undue stress! The whole family enjoyed the peace and quiet and the chance to spend time together. We all agreed that we would like to return to the cottage in the Spring or Summer."

"Warm welcome and cottage very quiet, with pleasant surroundings. Very comfortable and well equipped, but marked down a bit due to poor lighting in kitchen and living area. Ok for just sitting watching TV in the evening, but found it too dark to read easily, and just too gloomy in kitchen area - couldn't see microwave buttons at all without the aid of the emergency torch! Would be helpful for directions to say that the "2nd turning after the church" is about a mile outside the village - we drove up and down a couple of times thinking we'd missed it! Would stay again, as well positioned for many tourist attractions and cottage was lovely, apart from the lighting."

"If you are someone that enjoys countryside, wonderful sunsets and a rural locations, this is definitely the place to come. The barn is clean and spacious, although the bedrooms are very small, but they are fit for purpose and clean and cosy. They also have a great outlook over the fields of sheep, so you wake up to fabulous views. On sunny days the sun sets on the patio giving really amazing sunsets over the fields and trees. The patio is also a sun trap which gives you a lovely warm end to the day right into the evenings. The property is completely fenced in and secure, which makes it great for pets and families with young children."

"You can’t fault the location of this property, the garden was fantastic for the dogs to walk around at their leisure and the immediate location is ideal for walks and getting around to other villages with a selection of great dog walks and beautiful country pubs for lunch or an evening meal. The converted blacksmith workshop for me was too small especially on the first floor. I am over 6ft and found the bedroom very limited in space but would suit others no doubt but for someone as tall as me impersonal found it very compact. Please do not let it put anyone off as the positives far out way the negatives and the setting is very idealic."
