What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Kent To Rent.

"We (two adults, two children of 12 and 14 years) were warmly welcomed by the owners who live right next door! They have explained everything important to the functions of the devices in the apartment and also us. informed about shopping and good restaurants nearby. They were always very friendly and helpful, if you have any questions about the environment. The apartment is comfortably furnished and attractively designed. Crockery and cutlery are available in sufficient quantity for four people. Especially beautiful and quaint are the well-preserved historic stone walls made of flint! The property is a great starting point for all kinds of activities - be it to the beaches in the area (especially beautiful Joss Bay but also Minnis Bay in Birchington itself - there you can eat well with very nice sea view!) Or the numerous historical sites and Places in Kent (Canterbury, Sandwich, Leeds Castle ... etc). London could also be reached by train from Birchington Station in two hours (driving during the week AFTER 800 AM, which significantly reduces costs!)! When traveling by car, however, you always have more time than expected or as the Navi indicates - the roads are sometimes so narrow that two cars do not pass each other or in such a happy state (comparable to dirt roads in Germany) ). The beautiful Quex Park with the Quex House and the Powell-Cotton Museum is within walking distance of the apartment (about 900 m). Our children and we were very excited about this great and varied holiday and will be back!"

"Much enjoyed our week in this very well appointed and comfortable property with nice owners, located in a very quiet, attractive, rural spot well removed from the village and main roads, with excellent dog walks along a permissive bridleway which commences close by. With no livestock in the vicinity, dogs were able to trot along off lead. Rochester old town is very nice to visit, as are Whitstable, Herne Bay, Margate, and Canterbury. By far the best beach is Dymchurch on the South coast, lovely sand, views and blue sea, where the dogs had a good swim on the ample permitted area. A much appreciated welcome pack is provided, including white wine and fresh local eggs. In summary, a well recommended property."

"We were impressed with the modern and spacious living areas of the house which were very comfortable. The kitchen and utility room are very well equipped with efficient, easy to use white goods, although with the weather being so good a clothes airer would be very useful. The location is just right, very close to the beach yet far enough away from the main attractions to be peaceful. Three generations of our family enjoyed our week here, especially our young grandsons who were in and out of the sea the whole time. Also within easy reach of Broadstairs, Whitstable, Margate,Ramsgate and Canterbury. Will be recommending to family and friends."

"A couple of extra towels would have been handy, as we only had one bath towel each to last us the four days. With nowhere to dry them outside, we had to leave them on the heated towel rail to be ready for next use, but after a couple of days they were getting a bit grotty! Lovely provisions hamper was a nice welcome and the housekeeper Ann, was friendly and very helpful. We would not stay at Lodesman again because the downstairs bathroom and toilet proved to me a bit of a hassle with steep stairs in the middle of the night! But we enjoyed our stay there and had everything we needed to be comfortable."

"We rented S41680 for a break away from London to celebrate a friends birthday. We were all very pleased with the location, comfort and quality of the cottage. The surrounding environment was perfect for what we wanted. The cottage itself was well equipped and one of the best self catering environments I have experienced. We were all very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort provided as well as the welcome hamper and nice little touches around the cottage. Ann was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and we would wholeheartedly recommend the cottage. Thank you."
