"A weird location, being in a business park. Not an obvious choice of location for a holiday let. Noise from lorries going in and out, and occasionally bothered by lorry drivers at the door, thinking we were somehow relevant to them! The house would benefit from:1 better information in the booklet about nearby attractions/ facilities (e.g. nearest supermarket, best local pubs, days out, etc)2 better kitchen layout - it is not a cook's kitchen - it is well served for glasses and crockery and cutlery but I strongly suggest you get some more stuff e.g. measuring jug, scales, baking trays (we have left you a potato peeler!) and cake tin, serving spoons, salad servers3 being able to convert the double beds into singles to allow more flexibility4 working air con on the ground floor - we could not get it to work in the corridor with the three rooms coming off5 a hot tub that isn't over 40 degrees centigrade! --- it was far too hot --- and it needs filling with more water6 the games room is great but we couldn't get the space invaders or the fruit machine to work - maybe time to upgrade/ replace?7 more keys/ fobs. Two is not enough for a house that sleeps 14 in 7 different double rooms. Or give guests the combination code so they can key it into the gate and get through. It was such a pain having only two between us. On the plus side, the house was spotlessly clean and we were really impressed by Eva and Paul in particular, who responded to our issues very promptly. The dishwasher gave out while we were there and they dealt with it really well. Great towels and linen. Thanks also for the goodie basket."

"We stayed here for three nights during a get away in Yorkshire. It's ideally situated as the sea side is not too long a drive away, and the gorgeous city of York is even closer. The cottage itself has been very very nicely converted, and decorated so tastefully. The bed linen is the softest I've felt and there was even a loaf of bread, jar of honey and butter & milk so we could have hot drinks and a bit of breakfast without even having to stop at the shop en route. We arrived at 8pm ish and we're greeted and welcomed in by very friendly people. We felt comfortable for our entire stay and despite being on a working farm we were in no way disturbed. The hot tub and bed side bath were fantastic features. Hot tubs in the cold weather are perfect. We would recommend a stay here to anyone and hope to return in the not too distant future."

"There was a warm and friendly welcome with tea and coffee and a loaf for toast which was great. The house was well equipped, clean and mostly comfortable and we enjoyed eating outside on the conveniently placed table and chairs with a very pleasant outlook to the well maintained garden area. The games room and sauna and hot tub were fun and the wash room was very convenient too. There was a large playing field to the rear of the property for ball games and a country path near with a plentiful supply of blackberries. We all enjoyed our stay but the only complaint was loud barking dogs at 7:30am. We really wanted a quiet relaxing lie in on our holiday. The nearby road is a bit noisy but these things weren’t a major nuisance once the dogs had their breakfast. Thanks for a lovely visit we enjoyed our stay."

"We had an extremely, fantastic, fun weekend and the house exceeded all our expectations in terms of facilities and decoration. The first day we noticed there wasn’t a large enough casserole dish and mentioned this to the host, Eva who was extremely helpful and returned within the hour with one, she was very attentive and polite and even arranged a minibus for us all to York.Although the house is on a business park it was very private, surrounded by trees, we not disturbed by any passing traffic and able to up until the early hours enjoying the facilities of the playroom without worrying about disturbing anyone! Would highly recommend."

"The description and photographs absolutely describe this beautifully renovated farm building. The quality of all the fixtures and fittings were way beyond any of the self catering accomodation that we have stayed in,and all the extras eg cling film kitchen roll soap etc etc were much appreciated as was the welcome basket full of goodies. The owners were lovely and ensured that you were happy with everything and gave good advice about roads and area, all in all we both loved being in our own personal retreat with the bonus of relaxing in the hot tub at the end of exploring Yorkshire ."
