"<strong>We loved our stay at S87516.</strong><br /> Susan, the host, welcomed us with real energy and warmth not long before midnight! There is lots of information on local activities in the house. The house was immaculately clean with lots of space and comfortable furniture. The two en-suite bedrooms facilitated two families sharing really well, with a large family bathroom and shower room in addition and seemingly endless hot water. The dining space was great for 10 with plenty of plates and cutlery. The view was fabulous, particularly from the garden. The garden is a good space We loved walking directly from the house and had an adventure scrambling up banks and wading through rivers with the wild ponies looking on- I think we need to improve our map-reading skills... The children ( aged 5-20) swam in the nearby 'Washing pool" - very cold but lots of fun. We enjoyed watching the Red Kites soar at the Kite feeding centre and the amazing views on the Elan Valley Dam walk. The local heritage centre (spearheaded by Susan) explained the local history well."

The property is like home from home with the extra wow factor of a hot tub! It was easy to book & pay, all information was accurate, thank you.<br /> Recommends: There are some fantastic walks not far away, Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains etc.</span>"

We managed two barbecues while we were there.<br /> Tips: Get good ordnance survey maps and a compass and you'll be fine for walking. There aren't many signed footpaths. Brecon and Hay on Wye - very nice towns.</span>"

"Wonderful cottage. 3 small notes for improvement...1. There was no welcome book letting you know how to work everything in the cottage, location of the nearest pub, supermarket, good local walks etc2. An ashtray outside would be good. I know its a non smoking cottage but there's no where outside to put cigarette butts. Just a plant pot or bucket filled with sand or something to stop it blowing away would be good and then you can just empty it before you leave. 3. The upstairs shower only has 2 temperatures, boiling water or molten lava, i think the temperature gage is broken. We all used the downstairs shower all weekend which worked fine. We did have a wonderful weekend however and really enjoyed it and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or recommend to others. just a couple of notes for improvement."

"Wow! That was our first impression when we arrived at this beautiful house. The owners have done a most wonderful job. The quality and finish of the fixtures, fittings, decoration and outside areas is of 5 star standard. All the mod-cons and home comforts you could wish for, whilst retaining original features and the integrity of a stunning farmhouse. After days of glorious sightseeing, breathtaking scenery and wonderful wildlife, what could be better than returning to the superb hot tub followed by a relaxing evening in front of the marvellous logburner? All in all, an absolutely perfect holiday - please, please, please, can we come again?!"
