"We had a lovely stay here. The cottage was beautiful, on arrival we got our keys and was hoping to be able to park our car outside the cottage, being that we were paying for the V.I.P cottage I would have hoped that would have been the case and with kids, it would have made it allot easier with all the extra baggage you have to carry but the walk wasn't too far anyway. Walking into the cottage it was presented beautifully, everywhere was lovely and clean and it was decorated really well too. The beds were comfy but a bit too soft! which isn't always a bad thing but I guess it depends on your mattress preference.Later on when giving our toddler a shower she pulled off the drain cover which revealed it was full of hair which was pretty gross but that was the only dirty thing we found in the place! Also being that it's a VIP cottage would have thought it would have come with a bath and shower instead of just stand up shower but I guess you can't have it all! also I did see that was noted on the page before we purchased and was fine with that. The hot tub was beautiful and clean, it would have been nice if it had a full path to the hot tub rather than slabs between pebbles as in the dark going back it is sometimes hard to see and you end up stepping on all the stones which isn't fun. Also the light that turns on in the garden whilst you're in the hot tub was directed straight at the hot tub and because it was so bright was quite irritating after a while, it would have been nice if it was slightly pointed away from the hot tub so it wasn't SO direct. We ended up covering it with clothes half the time because the light in the hot tub was good enough for us!I enjoyed the little things that was in the cottage on arrival such as butter in the fridge with some milk, ice cubes in the freezer, isle of wight bread, two kitchen rolls, washing liquid and sugar, tea and coffee. Really lovely little freebies that added some home comforts on arrival. Also loo roll! Which is always a bonus. Overall it was a lovely stay and I would recommend it to anyone and would love to come again."

"Overall really lovely, generally things were clean (though a deep clean probably needed in off season grout, bathroom fans) and it was eexactly like the photos. Our only issue was being unable to vent the place during this hot weather, due to the lack of Velux opening. The site, is well laid out well kept and our premier lodge was in a lovely location. I think there could be more outside patio area at the bar, as I can imagine in high season this would be a challengeHowever the staff were all exceptionally helpful and pleasant and did their best to make you welcom"

"The accommodation was good, the quality of furniture etc was high. We very much enjoyed and utilised the hot tub, and the location of the site was very convenient to get to places as well as convenient for the ferry. The main reception area was good although we didn't use it much.Downsides were that there was nothing provided to give any shade on the outside seating area (which in the middle of a hot spell was rather inconvenient), and that that we had no views of the sea. More ventilation / cooling would also have been useful."

"Family of 5 plus 1 Grandparent - Accommodation and facilities are amazing. Owners are very friendly and helpful. They have thought of everything you would need/want to make your holiday special. The bottle of wine and bottle of milk in the fridge when we arrived was a lovely touch. We could make ourselves a hot drink whilst unpacking, the wine went very well with our evening meal. This type of accommodation would suit everyone; familes, singles, groups and couples. We had a lovely holiday."

"Unfortunately our lodge had not been properly cleaned when we arrived and although we complained to reception we had to clean the lodge ourselves before we were able to unpack. (This was a shame since this was not our experience of the lodge we stayed in two years ago and marred our impression of the site). It did feel as though the lodge we were in (number 6), which was in a far corner of the site close to the overhanging trees, needed some TLC or, at the very least, a very good clean."
