What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Hot Tubs In Fife To Rent.

"We've just returned from a week at The Den, and would have no hesitation in returning or recommending the cottage to anyone interested in a break in this lovely part of Scotland. Audrey and John are very nice, and they have spent a lot of time in renovating the farm cottage to a very high standard. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing break, the hot tub was a great feature, and Audrey spent some time explaining how everything works and how to remain safe when using the hot tub. Audrey had even provided some brownies and a bottle of prosecco for us which was a lovely surprise after our long drive. It was clear from the comments in the visitor's book that everyone who has stayed here has had a nice quiet and relaxing break. The cottage is in a good central location with the attractions of Edinburgh, Falkirk, Stirling, Glasgow and Dunfermline all within easy reach. The local village of Culross is a 20 minute walk away and has a nice pub serving good food, and a couple of cafes. This cottage is a real gem and we would love to return here for another break."

"The cottage was nice and clean. The location was okay. We assumed the cottage was in Kinghorn but was actually on the outskirts of Kirkcaldy which disappointed us a little. Kirkcaldy golf course is lovely and my husband and son played a round there. We were very disappointed that the hot tub was not working for the whole time we were there as that was one of the reasons we booked this cottage. Although the owner was full of apologies and did try to get it fixed for us it did make our stay much less pleasurable especially when we came back from golf as it would have been lovely to relax in the hot tub. We felt the owner could have dealt with the situation better as we weren't even told about the hot tub not working before we arrived and no form of refund or other has been offered. After all the hot tub facility would have been included in the cottage cost."

"The accommodation was lovely very clean and tidy and it suited my mum who walks with a stick as everything was on the flat. It was very quiet which was great. It was great that we were in a lodge that didn’t take pets there was no animal smell which has put us off in the past at other places. It was our daughter 7th birthday while we were on holiday. The things that the accommodation lacked were-- a cafetière (we had to buy one) we have always had these in other places we have stayed in it’s not something you would carry with you on holiday- There was no tea, coffee, sugar or milk portions so we could have a cuppa when we arrived- There were no oven gloves or dish towels in the kitchen- There were no scissors in the kitchen- There were no baking trays to cook withWe had young children with us so cooked in the lodge most nights."

"The cottage is a lovely relaxing retreat. It is very clean and modern and has everything you are likely to need. We found reception for the wi-fi and any phone signal very poor at the cottage but to be honest it was nice to be without it for the weekend. The immediate town nearby is not quite as we expected but if you travel a little further up the coast there are some lovely places such as St Andrews. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. Doug waited around for an extra two hours while we travelled through some awful weather and then braved the weather himself to meet us and escort us to the cottage as it would have been impossible to find it on our own We would definitely recommend the cottage and would not hesitate to stay there again."

"Enjoyed a relaxing weeks holiday staying at S23311. The owner, Rosemary, was very friendly and welcoming, and quickly sorted out a problem we had with the TV when we arrived. The house is set in beautiful grounds which are a pleasure to walk around, and if you are lucky you may see deer and squirrels. There is much to see and do in Fife and Perthshire, even in October, so no one should be stuck for anything to do, and the house is well placed for exploring the surrounding area.I recommend a visit to Loch Leven castle at Kinross, followed by lunch at Loch Leven Larder a few miles away. The food is delicious.Falkland and Falkland Palace are also interesting places to visit and the guides at the Palace are very friendly and informative."
