What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Hot Tubs In England To Rent.

"We hired this wonderful house to celebrate my birthday with family members joining us from far and wide! When we arrived the house was warm and very welcoming....the owner called in to make sure we had everything we needed and explained the Aga and hot tub to us. The dining room table is huge and we used it as a family to enjoy our meal for the Hawaiian themed evening for my birthday. The hot tub was a massive hit with everyone and we were also lucky with the weather as we sat outside in March enjoying the sunshine! The views were amazing and we loved having the sheep at the bottom of the garden. We couldn’t completely trust the fencing to the left of the front gate.... we were worried that our smaller dog could have escaped on to the lane.... so would suggest fencing that corner so all dogs are safe 🐶 Please book with confidence as you won’t be disappointed with this gorgeous house and garden....we would definitely return 😊 Thank you!!"

"Unfortunately to say we did not enjoy our stay at S59202. The property is lovely & large which suited us as a family of 7. Which was 4 adults & 3 teenagers. On arrival the property smelled cleaned but realised that was down to the air freshener right by the front door. Once in the property things went from bad to worse. The black mould around all the window frames, the mould in one off the double bedrooms, the black mould/dirt around the showers, the mould inside the microwave was a health hazard, the kitchen utensils are old & very used- we were lucky to take my own cook ware. The washing machine & tumble drier need to be replaced as I would be worried they are a fire hazard especially when the tumble drier goes on by itself. The swimming pool needs some TLC. It’s such a shame that this property is unloved & uncared for. It it had a deep clean & a cash injection it would be amazing."

"Although set in a lovely location the house itself was a little disappointing. Although advertised for 10 people in reality it only is suitable for 8. The dining table was a squeeze, the kitchen table not big enough, the fridge freezer definitely not big enough for a family of 10 including children. The hot tub didn't work properly, neither did the washing machine. The downstairs bedroom had a constant smell of human effluent coming from a broken drain outside. Many of the window handles were broken and the the floorboards upstairs are the noisiest we've ever heard (not ideal if you're putting children to bed and trying the creep away quietly)!! Its a shame as the location is lovely and the children loved seeing the cows and horses in the morning....The house just needs some money spent on it as it seemed a little unloved and looked rather tired."

"Bungalow was a little tired and definitely needed a deep clean. door frames, behind freezer (it was pulled out when we arrived we didn’t go lookin) - — flies which had been squashed on walls and ceiling weren’t pleasant Tv was very small for a really large room. Floor appeared to have a rubber film over stone floor, grass needed cutting. On plus side everything you needed was there - good oven, microwave, dishwasher fridge and freezer . Top marks for the swimming pool but pool steps need sorting ASAP and the hot top was excellent both were enjoyed by all. No welcome pack eg cake scones etc that we have had in ALL our previous holiday cottages and we have visited many so feel we have a good bench mark. We feel we had good value for money as we went out of season I don’t think I would have felt the same had I booked in high season"

"This was a short break over the New year weekend, the cottage was cosy, the distance to the local town was further than we anticipated yet not too far in the car. The cottage is in a very secluded area and a working farm. It was lovely not to have a good phone reception or WiFi because the art of conversation was reignited. If you're looking for a quiet stress free rest then this is the place, the hot tub was a bonus, even though shared we had it to ourselves.... perhaps others not as brave when it's cold outside. The welcome was very warm and nothing too much trouble, no one was in your face yet there is always someone at hand. If you're in need of peace and quiet and a stress free break it's the place to stay. There are plenty of walks for the walkers, fishing and other activities for the adventurous."
