What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Hot Tubs In Cumbria To Rent.

"Great farmhouse conversion into a 'farm' cottage with comfortable and good-sized bedrooms. Number of en-suites and separate bathroom great for families. Very well designed and equipped kitchen and living area with large and comfortable dining area attached. Location fine for us near to coast and short drives to Coniston and up to Ravenglass area - no more than 45 minutes. Set in midst of sheep farming area but with dog on the lead at all times able to walk some interesting paths close to the cottage. Stone walls and effective gates meant dogs secure at the cottage too. Would suggest looking at re-cycling information - only seemed possible to recycle glass with tins etc and paper going into same general waste bin. No details about what should have gone into several light grey bins which always seemed to be empty ? Apart from this minor point a great cottage for a good number of adults and children to stay together. A large hot tub was cleaned and serviced every day."

"Difficult to rate the cottage. It has high end equipment, (appliances, crockery etc) but this sits juxtaposition with a leaky shower, with a previous leak being visible through water staining, a broken toilet seat and a TV in the lounge that does not have connection to terrestrial channels, if you require the “smart options” then you need your own access to streaming service, which is also effected by the slow and inconsistent broadband ( I appreciate this is due to location but it compound the situation). I also thought that the positioning of the cottage in relation to the others is not made clear enough, the neighbours see right in as they pass to get to their accommodation."

"We had a lovely family weekend celebrating some big milestone birthdays. Great space to enjoy time together as a group of 10. Wonderful beds, welcome rest after busy days, comfortable accommodation overall. Cosy wood burner and hot tub are lovely additions. The hot tub is maintained daily by a warm, engaging team who enjoy their work and are polite and friendly. Some developmental feedback would be for increased water pressure and better quality towels after showering/bathing. Lovely views and walks, easy access to the lakes for exploring. We would stay again."

"We had a wonderful holiday at Gill Cottage. The house was equipped with everything we could need and the owners were very helpful and welcoming. The hot tub in the garden was brilliant and we managed to enjoy it every day. The village did not have many amenities but it is not far to Kirkby Stephen. We enjoyed a walk round the village, finding the village shop and a play on the village hall playground for the children. We had lovely days out at Lowther Castle and the Rheghed Centre. All in all a fabulous holiday cottage in a peaceful rural location."

"First few days lovely then work started on cottages next door also owned by same owner . First they knocked out the WiFi then became intrusive . Entered out cottage when we had a dog . Woke us up . No notice given by caretaker or owner of pending work . Payed a lot of money far more than normal to stay in a luxury cottage to Hv building work being carried out . Another couple moved from smaller cottage to larger to get away from noise . Couldn’t enjoy the spa due to men working . Spoilt what is our one holiday this year . Owner not interested !"
