What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Hopton Wafers To Rent.

"The cottage was well equipped, comfortable but a little tired looking. The patio area outside the back was looking very unkempt and although I appreciate it was winter time, could have been kept a lot cleaner and tidier. Although we knew that there was no Wi-fi at the property, what we did not know was that it was in a ‘dip’ which meant there was no mobile phone service (Vodafone). It was important for us to keep in touch with family and with very elderly parents, it was important that we could be contacted in an emergency. This was not possible which meant we had to drive out every day in order to get a signal to contact family. The cottage also advertises a full sky package but sky cinema is not available so we could not access sky movies. We spent the first day of our break trawling Telford stores to try and find a way of setting up something to give us access to the outside world ie a cable to give us Wi-fi or a signal booster for the phone, (as this is what the property owner told us he uses in his property next door) to no avail, apparently you cannot use a signal booster without Wi-fi. We feel that people should know when staying at this property that there is no level of communication from the property (on Vodafone). I can’t comment on other networks but I think people should be aware that they may be completely cut off at this property."

"Idyllic setting, tranquil with a lovely garden. Furniture and beds extremely comfortable, even the pillows. Good attention to detail in the equipment. Very generous welcome pack although we didn't use much of it as it didn't meet our dietary requirements. It would have been helpful to have some information in the folder about where you were allowed to walk from the cottage. We assumed that because the gate opened out of the back garden that it was ok to walk up and onto the back entrance to Mathon Court but we weren't sure. Also, rather surprised by the lack of recycling facilities and advice for the local area. A list of places to eat within a radius of the cottage would have been helpful. It was the one thing we found difficult. Lucky there was a Waitrose and M & S in Malvern! The only other thing that would have been lovely were a couple of comfortable sun loungers. The outside furniture was very good, with a choice of two sets and padded seat covers but it was such a beautiful setting that we would have liked to have "lounged" outside for an afternoon! This is being VERY demanding!I have stayed in many different cottages over the last 20 years but this was definitely the most comfortable and a glorious spot."

"Peaceful and well located for Ludlow and the surrounding area. The kitchen was well equipped, cottage quaint and it was value for money for the 4 of us. Outside space was lovely and we took advantage of this by having 2 barbecues and sat outside in the evenings. The one thing that spoiled this was several piles of dog excrement, especially close to the outside seating area. There's also a children's play equipment so if anyone was playing ball, it would probably ruin someones shoes. As this is pet free accommodation, we could only assume it's a residents pet. On the whole we would stay again, but someone needs to clean up after their dog!"

"We book 1or 2 Snaptrip cottages per year usually - this is the poorest standard property we have stayed at .Generally tired and could DEFINITELY be a lot cleaner .1. oven was so dirty the cottage filled with choking fumes on use2. previous occupants used towel and clothing still there .3. I had to clean hairs from shower , sofa and around toilet before use .4. underneath and around the oven was choked with dust and cobwebs 5. BBQ unsuable- too dirty 6 . had to scrub tons of algae off garden furniture before we could use .Very poor value for money"

"Excellent welcome pack made arrival less stressful. Location was perfect for us and beautifully quiet at night. Large lawned garden was perfect for our large dog to run free - the garden was safe, secure and well fenced. Parking was excellent and helped simplify loading and unloading of the car. The cottage itself was well stocked with cleaning products and a vacuum cleaner; the washing machine and tumble dryer were excellent and much appreciated when you've walked many miles in mud and rain."
