"Lovely house well presented. Super welcome with scones and jam and cream and flowers on the table. Nice touch of dishwasher tablets/washing machine tablets/washing up liquid etc left for us. Plenty of seating. Kitchen really well equipped and bathrooms more than adequate and very clean. Enough space for everyone (two couples, one baby one older lady and three small dogs!) Beds very comfortable with nice quality linen and towels. The patios at the back were lovely but only accessed by very steep uneven stone steps which meant my elderly mum could not get up there. The patio at the front was great for her though very uneven. It did not matter to the rest of us but it would have been good to have somewhere easier for her to navigate or to have known in advance The town is great with good pub, restaurant and beach cafe so plenty of walkable options. Beach and nature trail very good for the dogs. I would happily stay there again in this house, it was excellent value for money"

"Very comfortable, clean and spacious lodge. Very quiet area. Decent sized kitchen which was filled with most items needed for self catering. (Apart from glasses, most were missing!) Having to go through the main bedroom to use the hot tub was a bit of an odd layout, but it didn't bother us personally. Lots of storage space for items. Nice balcony area leading from lounge. 2 sofas turned into sofa beds if needed, but twin bedrooms were more than adequate. Recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful time chilling, reading, chatting as not much to do unless you drive out. (Perfect for us) Mobile signal rubbish - no good for WiFi mad people! TV reception poor when weather was bad. And take at least a 4 way extension lead - lack of plug sockets in the main bedroom was a pain. Good showers. Also had iron and board, plus hairdryer. Highly recommended"

"This cottage is fabulous. Down a quiet lane, with stunning views. There were 6 of us: 3 lads in their late teens/ early twenties, mum and dad and granny. Sue and Graham have thought of everything - everything you'll need and all of a high quality. Very friendly owners who were there if needed. Room for two cars in the covered car port. The rooms are big and lavishly decorated and dressed. We did a lot of running and cycling and walking, easy distance to Dartmoor and enjoyed a morning on the beach at Seaton in the April sun! Ate well at the Old Plough Inn in the next village (Bere Ferrers) and joined in at the Open Mic at the Egecombe Hotel on Bere Alston and had a very warm welcome! Brilliant, comfortable place to stay and relax, even though some of the cycling involved some steep hills :-)"

"This barn is really beautiful, lots of space and extremely well equipped. Sue & Graham the owners are lovely, welcoming & very helpful. The kitchen with the aga is fantastic, nothing that wasn’t thought of, every type of equipment provided for. Spacious bedrooms, beautifully appointed bathrooms and a wonderful open plan lounge with views over the Devon hills. Down Farm Barn is near the Cornish border too as well as Plymouth, Tamar Railway and two estuaries, the Tavy and the Tamar. If you want peace & tranquility within the Devon countryside, in a property that has everything you could possibly need, this is the place for you."

"The garden was completely secure for our small dog and bigger than it looks on the photos and the hot tub was a bonus. This is such a picturesque area and Quither makes the most of it. Although you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere you are only a couple of miles from civilisation. It was a pleasure to sit in the main room upstairs and just lose yourself looking out of the windows at the scenery and the Alpacas! Definitely a property I want to return to. The Ship Inn at Ugborough is well worth a visit and the staff are very welcoming. A beautiful little village."
