"The best well equipped cottage we have stayed in, complete with a tumble dryer and washing machine and everything else you can think of for a pleasant family holiday.Everything has been provided by the owners, even a lovely welcome note and chocolate cake on arrival. Excellent facilities.A great base to explore Norfolk and Suffolk from. We explored the whole area during our stay and we're glad to come back each evening to such a beautiful and relaxing place. The only thing which would have improved this for our teenage children would have been access to wifi. Due to its quiet location we were only able to pick up 2G phone signal. That said, as a family with children from 7 to 17, it allowed us to communicate and engage with each other far more.Be aware that the staircase steps are not the full foot depth and care needs to be taken. A minor detail in our opinion in such a beautiful cottage and gardens.A highly recommended cottage in beautiful peaceful surroundings.Would we return again? Most definitely!"

"The Cabin has been "mis-named", it ought to be called the "Tardis". From the outside and the pictures it looks small, but we were shocked to discover the internal dimensions. The property is totally Dog proof, as we have a Lurcher that has the "wonderlust" and we felt totally safe allowing her to wander around in our own private garden. The owners are very welcoming and help with their local knowledge, the Crown Inn (almost at end of driveway) has a fantastic menu and takes immense pride in the sourcing of their produce, they welcome dogs (on leads) in the bar where you can order off the main menu. Or if no dog you can go into their Restaurant (highly recommended). As I have heart problems we found walking our Lurcher around the Village or through to the nearby forest was lovely FLAT walking which makes a difference. We WILL rebook this property!! 15/10. April 2011."

"When we arrived we had to carry all our stuff down a narrow path between a fence and their garage then across their garden. Our car was parked outside the owners property not next to the cabin as we thought so that put us off the place right away. the Cabin itself was small but VERY CLEAN, there was also a very large post at the edge of the bed which my wife banged her head on & I turned around & hit my shoulder, we could see noreason for it being there unless it was to support the bed room extension roof as the cabin was only 12ft square but the kitchen, bathroom & bedroom were all added at a later time this should be made aware to customers. It was private within the Cabin garden.Only met Mr Fox on arrival & his wife when we were leaving never asked if all was ok or had we enjoyed the stay, SORRY it was not for us and WE WILL NOT BE BACK."

"The cabin was spotlessly clean and very roomy for us two and our large dog. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dog and although we went in the winter, are sure the little veranda outside with the bench is lovely to sit out on, on a summers evening. The owners had even provided a little bin and "pooper scooper" with bags for anyone who had forgotten to bring doggy bags with them for collecting any mess from their dog. The heating inside the cabin was more than adequate and it was quite chilly during our break. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly, even inviting us along to their firework display in a neighbouring garden. Local pub and shop is very close and the pub served excellent food - not just your normal pub grub. Nov 2010."

"We absolutely loved our stay at the hide away back in November. It was warm, cosy and comfortable with plenty of space for 2 people to just get away and relax for the week. My partner is in a wheelchair and although the place isn't "wheelchair adapted" it was perfect for him as everything was on one level and flat ground. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed- including putting planks of wood down on the gravel to make it easier for my partner to get over in his wheelchair. The area was nice and quiet- plenty of walks to go on and the pub just up the road is definitely worth a visit! Tesco is only a 10 min drive away too.It was a lovely week away and we will definitely be bsck! "
