What our customers are saying about our Summer Holiday Lodges In Ingestre To Rent.

"We had a fantastic holiday in The Old Carthouse - really relaxing and welcoming. There were the two of us and our 2 year old and 6 year old and they had a great time too. The place is comfortable and feels well looked after. The kids loved playing with Holly and Meg (the dogs), as well as admiring the ponies and cows in nearby fields. I loved playing with the Pizza oven. I never quite got it right, but I think that's down to practice more than anything. They definitely tasted better than the frozen ones! There's loads of things to do in the area that aren't too far away. We would definitely recommend the National Memorial Arboretum (surprisingly great for young children) which was about 20 minutes drive. We're National Trust members, so we spent a lot of time visiting those properties, and there's plenty to chose from. There's no Wi-Fi and very patchy mobile signal, which is great for feeling disconnected from the world, but did cause a slight hiccup when we couldn't check that somewhere was open (it was closed cause of high winds!) so we nearly had a wasted journey. The DVD player was also rather complicated to figure out!"

"We stayed at this location in 2011 and it is still as nice but with little change. The downstairs facilities were used by my elderly mother who has limited mobility. She was very pleased and it would be suitable for other guests who are restricted. The house is really spacious, clean and the welcome basket was appreciated. We understand the owner is waiting for a suitable opportunity to decorate as the paintwork needs a little care. Our only disappointment was the games room. We used a screwdriver to tighten the screws on the cushions of the pool table as they were loose. The football table is unplayable as the footballers are held on with tape and one had half his body detached. Whilst I know new facilities are expensive and certainly not necessary a good solid glue and a little love and tender care could get then back to workable. The games room is a real treat. We had a great stay and despite the above which are easily resolved we would return again(3rd time) for a big family occasion."

"Another fab few days at Grooms cottage. The 7th time we have stayed so I guess that pretty much says it all. Proper home from home and relaxing time. Cottage up to the usual great standard .New settee and chair are lovely, although we loved the old one too. We use Brankley farm cottages as a base when we visit my family in Staffs and visit friends in Derby . All three cottages are fantastic ,we have been in total 10 times . Grooms cottage ideal for our needs ,easy access for wheelchair and walk in shower a plus too. Love sitting in the garden with my morning coffee overlooking the field and horses. The pool and jacuzzi is another big plus for both me and my son, especially after the long drive down from Scotland. Lovely to catch up with Jayne and Jason again. See you soon, Corinne &Sam"

"We found Cottage pleasant setting although not convenient for walks or eating out . Found cooking essentials glazed and cooking trays not healthy to use. Had problem as door fell off top cupboard (reported to owner) also problems with hot water system which owner did rectify and gave small sum in recompense . Shower did not have a grab rail which I may suggest is needed for older people. Swimming Pool very good also Spa pool. Changing Facilities did not have locks on toilet door and changing area same, possibly one should change back at Cottage? The sitting area not comfortable, settee upholstery cushions sagged We enjoyed our stay but feel living area very tired. Bedroom very pleasant although bed linen clean but again tired"

"The cottage was adequate for our stay, but we found the sofa very saggy and uncomfortable and one of the kitchen chairs was broken. WIFI was not available in the cottage, but we did use the WIFI signal in the games room, whilst sitting on bean bags. The kitchen was adequate but lacked helpful things such as potato peeler, scale pan, tea pot, I agree you can improvise alternatives. There were no groceries in the cottage, so if you go, make sure you take everything with you you might need.It was great to have use of the swimming pool, but I would have given this up for a comfy sofa! The patio was lovely, but we had to walk the dog through the bedroom to reach it."
