"Lovely cottage in a great location. You can easily walk into Tenbury Wells. Nice cupcakes and fresh bread plus coffee and tea plus fresh milk and lovely flowers made us feel very welcome on our arrival. The cottage was exceptionally clean. The Pembroke House pub/restaurant is really good and so close. The cottage sleeps 3 but there are two big lounges and a large dining area. The kitchen is OK but very narrow and could be better equipped. We were very lucky with the weather and there is a nice area to sit outside. The bedrooms are nice and cosy and comfortable but the main downside for us was the bathroom which is really small and the shower over the bath is not very practical. The bathroom looks very nice - lovely bath and nicely tiled but not very good for having a shower. There is a second downstairs toilet and a sink in the main bedroom which are useful."

"This house is very spacious and very well maintained. We were very comfortable in it, the beds, the showers, and the public room furniture. The kitchen is very well equipped. The owner was extremely helpful and looked after our needs when they arose. The owner had gone to the trouble of producing a booklet that contained all the local attractions - properties to visit, canal and other walks, pubs, museums, etc. We only had time to do a couple of these so will have to return to do some of the others, like Ragley Hall. The only downside was not of the owner's making - the postcode led my satnav astray and we had to end up asking the way. If you can use the address of the property rather than its postcode, you will be able to find the property."

"Wifi doesn't really work and no phone signal. Might be bliss for some, but I needed to do a bit of work and found it a bit painful. Creaky floorboards are characterful to start with, but quickly loose their fun. Impossible to sneak to the toilet in the night. Well equipped generally. Great enclosed garden. Couple of nice touches but found sitting in sofas in the lounge not particularly comfy. Great for our dog. Milk in the fridge and some lovely cupcakes when we arrived. Stairs are tricky and slippy with socks on. Very tight upstairs (I'm 6ft 2in). Smoke alarm in the kitchen is a nightmare. You can't open the over without anything even in it without setting it off. This needs looking at. We set it off twice a day without trying !"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Cider Press, which is a beautiful chocolate box cottage near the Malvern Hills. The upstairs area is really cute, and would be perfect for kids, while the downstairs is cosy. There is everything you need, and the kitchen is pretty good. The negatives were very minor, and I mention them only for information really. As noted by others, the WiFi doesn't really work and mobile reception is very scarce - however for right-thinking people this is a positive! Unfortunately the nearest pub has closed down. There are several others a mile or so away, including the delicious bib gourmand 'Inn at Malvern', but walking there involved some muddy sections and you definitely need a torch."

"This was a very late booking after having been let down by a different company two days before departure! We were very grateful to Victoria for organising things for us, and her friendly welcome. The ‘pub nearby’ is a total understatement, the house is on the High Street, moments away from the river, so is teeming with shops and eating places, which we found really useful. The front rooms are perhaps a little noisy, but it wasn’t enough to stop me sleeping. The one drawback to its position in the middle of a very pretty town is the parking: there is free parking for one hour in front of the house but you have to be lucky to get one. Would I go to Hamstead House again? Certainly would! Thanks Victoria."
