"We really enjoyed our stay at the Ferryman's Cottage over New Year. The rooms were comfortable and provided a good mix of double beds and singles for our mixed family group. The bathrooms were all clean, modern and plentiful - there were five full bathrooms with showers and one additional toilet. The kitchen was clean and well equipped with plenty of plates, cutlery, pots and pans etc so it was easy to cater for the group. The living room was not really big enough to accommodate fourteen of us comfortably but the dining room sat us easily so we were able to use this area too. The WiFi was not great but adequate. The garden was well fenced so suitable for our dog and there was easy walking along the river directly from the cottage. The drive to the cottage was interesting with some significant puddles on the last bit of the lane/driveway but otherwise the location is conveniently close to the M5/M50 but has the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere. Food at the nearby Railway Inn was excellent. All in all I'd recommend the cottage as somewhere that is well equipped, warm and comfortable and suited our needs as a convenient venue for a family get together."

"We enjoyed a large family get together here in January, and would highly recommend the Ferryman's cottage for that purpose. The house was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped for large gatherings (with enough kitchen equipment for a large family roast). The photos don't really do the property justice, the bathrooms are all very modern and luxurious. Most importantly for a winter gathering, the house is extremely warm and comfortable (we have rented a number of properties in January and that is not always the case in some of the older properties). The only constructive comment I would give is that the road to the property is full of pretty deep pot-holes which had got very waterlogged when we were there. We were able to access the property ok, but I would not have wanted to drive a small or old car down that road in winter. The owner was very helpful before our stay, and it was all very smooth and easy. Thanks a lot!I would strongly recommend this property for large gatherings, and we would certainly return!"

"I could not have picked a better cottage if I had tried. It was to be where I could relax with friends in the middle of a long distance walk so i was looking forward to it, as you can imagine. I was not disappointed. The view was stunning looking west over Herefordshire. The neighbours were friendly and the father of the owner lived nearby so although we had problems with the keypad help was on hand. It was comfortable, well appointed, plenty of linen and towels with a much needed washing machine! Even though vehicular access was a few minutes away which could present problems unloading there was a very special and useful way of unloading-by wheelbarrow. One of my party was on crutches and even she had no problem walking along the even grassy track from the car. It is in West Malvern, not Great Malvern, so you would have to drive to shops and eating places. Also, at the time, there seemed to be an unresolved issue about parking so it would be worth enquiring. However, what a heavenly place!"

"Lovely cottage and stunning views! Very well equipped but I would have liked to have some hooks behind bedroom and bathroom door (s) Especially in small bedroom where there is no place at all to hang anything.Parking is a problem as on our last day we were confronted by a Polish guy who demanded £60 as we had parked in front of his drive which was not clear in the dark. I know we have to park at our own risk but seeing that the pub is now going to be demolished, parking should be allowed as parking in the road is dangerous. In the end we paid him £20.- and he told us that everybody paid him to park there!!A nice little earner! It was a lovely week and we did lots but the walk to and from the cottage was a bit hazardous for my older brother. It was very nice that we had some help from local people with our luggage. Also I think it would have been nice for Mary to have come up and introduced herself to us."

"We had a fantastic holiday at Rosemary Cottage. The location was lovely, I like to go jogging and going through the village was beautiful, then straight out into the countryside in all directions, so much to explore! It really was a new and exciting jog every morning. The interior of the cottage/house was beautiful, lots of lovely beams, it had been done up so nicely. It had everything we needed as well as some lovely added extra welcome gifts, which made the stay even more enjoyable! The living room was lovely and cosy. We took our 8 month old baby who is not crawling yet and the place was great for him. I highly recommend the Cotswolds for a holiday and this rental accommodation makes a perfect base for exploring the region."
