What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Gardens In Wooler To Rent.

"The cottage is set in a beautiful location, very peaceful but within easy drive to beaches and tourist attractions. Garden secure so the dogs could amble about without the fear of them being able to get out and it's a nice little sun trap. Have stayed here before (next door) and would do so again without hesitation. Log burner was laid ready for our arrival, so only a match needed putting to it to get it going. The cottage was warm and cosy and the owners had kindly left us half a dozen eggs on our arrival.Only drawback to the property was no shower, just a bath, and getting enough hot water to have a good soak was a bit tricky! Small price to pay for such a lovely place to stay.Would recommend this place to anyone, but especially those with dogs as it's so relaxing for them too."

"Lovely location, pet friendly. Place needs a deep clean though, lots of dust built up in corners, edges and on lampshades. Overwhelming smell somewhere between furniture polish and musty which I fear may in part comes from the some of the dated furniture and fittings (sofa, carpets). Whilst I know rural properties can suffer from pests there was a big problem with wasps hovering around the outside and many dead inside. Also mouse (?) bait stations in bedrooms were a bit off-putting. Apart from decent bed and washing machine, other facilities were a dated and basic. With the lack of cleanliness it didn't always feels like a holiday cleaning everything before use. Shame, as location could make this a great place and the price be justified if this was all sorted."

"This cottage was everything we expecting and more. It’s based around a farm and a few houses but it is so relaxing, so quiet and very comfortable and clean. Next door people helped if we needed anything and we didn’t need much just checking the oven working. The views were amazing and the weather was amazing.Sitting at the front door was a real sun trap and the alpacas were interesting neighbours.Although the cottage was remote ( we found this a positive) and we had a great week travelling on great quiet roads to beautiful countryside, beautiful beaches and quaint and interesting towns. Our little dog was able to get into most places to eat and the beaches/castles will draw us back to this beautiful part of the country Xxxx"

"The location of the cottage was excellent for a week of great walking. The views from the lounge are stunning with the bonus of entertaining alpacas! The cottage was spotlessly clean and the WiFi super but personally we found several minor irritations which meant it wasn’t quite as good as other comparable places we’ve stayed. In particular we found the set up of the heating controls unusual and difficult to manage to suit our requirements. Also the towels were thin, hard and small. Overall though we had a great week in glorious countryside, and the 'lack of amenities' suited us fine!!! The flowers/brownies/wine were appreciated."

"A nice little cottage in a lovely area with easy access to the local attractions. It was great that our 2 dogs were welcome. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well equipped. The lack of a shower really wasn't a problem for us. In terms of things that could be improved - a DVD player would have been appreciated to keep the kids entertained. Also the upstairs smoke detector was inactive - the battery had run out - those kind of things need checking.Overall we had a lovely 3 day stay."
