What our customers are saying about our Christmas Cottages In Whitstable To Rent.

"Fantastic venue but quiet. which suits many people. The pub around the corner served some of the worst food I have experienced , and the rudest staff, however that's nothing to do with the venue. Well equipped cottage however, so much didn't work .eg The iron didn't work at all, and I did check to fuse, the grill on the oven was falling apart. There was a cloths airier which somebody had put a note saying broken. Didn't try the washing machine of dish washer so cant comment. The rear garden had overgrown conifers which blocked the light and prevented the bedroom balcony doors from being left open , unless we had a mosquito net! And it was all I could do not to clean the windows "after all we were on holiday" The security lights didn't work. There was a wicker chair which was coming apart and had very sharp edges. Lastly the leather sofa which was the most uncomfortable thing to sit on."

"The cottage was very well appointed and cosy as central heating was very efficient (November ). Had all we needed and was well sited for easy walking/visiting places of interest/shops and walking to a pub in the evening. Rooms spacious (sleeping for 3 in the one bedroom), bathroom had bath and shower cubicle as well as loo and basin. The only thing lacking was a shaver point in the bathroom. Downstairs cloakroom too. Lots of reading material and some DVDs. Kitchen had plenty of white goods including fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave (we brought our own coffee machine). Good airing cupboard for drying wet outdoor wear too. Internet access could have been better but if you want to get away from this - you'll be fine!"

"We were impressed with the modern and spacious living areas of the house which were very comfortable. The kitchen and utility room are very well equipped with efficient, easy to use white goods, although with the weather being so good a clothes airer would be very useful. The location is just right, very close to the beach yet far enough away from the main attractions to be peaceful. Three generations of our family enjoyed our week here, especially our young grandsons who were in and out of the sea the whole time. Also within easy reach of Broadstairs, Whitstable, Margate,Ramsgate and Canterbury. Will be recommending to family and friends."

"Whiteoaks Cottage is one of the best we have stayed in, and we have been renting holiday cottages for over 20 years. We had ample space, good kitchen with everything we needed. The lounge was comfortable with nice furnishings. It has a lovely large bedroom upstairs overlooking the back garden. The bathroom has a shower and a bath, how good is that! The is also a downstairs loo. The cottage is spotless, a home from home but without the clutter!! The owners and Leigh, who looks after the cottage made us feel very welcome."

"Beautiful location and views over the sea. A beautiful little cottage. The cooker, some of the lights and vacuum cleaner didn't work properly during our stay due too heavy rain. However I know this is being sorted out by the owner. There was lots of dogs hair on the matts left from the previous guests but this could be sorted by purchasing a working vacuum cleaner. Overall the cottage is beautiful and despite a few problems, as mentioned I would recommend it as a holiday cottage. Thanks, enjoy your stay. X"
