"Pound Hill Cottage is a converted stable, suitable for 2 people. The bed is soft foam, generous duvet, beds were made two large towels were ready. There is little storage space in the bedroom, we have our suitcase and bags placed in the living room. Adjacent toilet and shower room is only accessible via bedroom. Shower provides sufficient heat ray and if you have patience ;-). Located quite clear of the house of the owners, you have great privacy. Behind the house you have the sheep, do not stink, sometimes they bleat like lambs are fed (2x pd). It is a very quiet environment. You can from the house perfect for walks to many attractions within a half hour drive. Car is handy to get anywhere. Cycling is less suitable, the roads are narrow and winding. The English are nicely integrated courteous in traffic, but it remains small (and seems unusual). Fluorescent vest verplicht. In the house is a toaster, a kettle, but beware: no coffee, so it "s doorduwkoffieopgietding, so if you do the right filters and skill with wood stove gives you the delicious warmth, will take time. to heat the entire room. And a little bit of skill with the newspapers, aanmaa"

"Very well equipped and comfortable grade II listed building on two floors. Ideal for local car touring and walking is possible. We found it perfect as couple with small dog and totally secure large, mainly grass garden. Nearest shop (e.g. for pint of milk on Sunday) was at Paddock Wood, about 5 miles away.) The limitation of the listed building comfort is that en-suite isn't available so nocturnal journeys needed to go downstairs for facilities. If walking, Cuckoo lane is single track with few cars leading to Tong lane which has faster traffic as it is slightly wider but not recommended as there are no safe footpaths. There is a field gate about 150 yards at end of Cuckoo lane which allows walking just inside orchard boundary to connect with public footways. Dogs need to be kept on lead due local sheep worrying issues."

"A great cottage in the middle of nowhere - which is a good thing for us! Stayed with our (reactive) dog, so having an enclosed garden is really important for us and she loved it. Served as a great base for a few days walking in the local area. Was a 10 min drive to local shops that we could see (there may have been closer though). The cottage itself is really spacious for two people and had everything we needed. Only way to improve for us would be to provide some more personal info on the local area (walks, pubs, shops etc) - as there were plenty of info leaflets for attractions, but there wasn't anything about what was on the doorstep. All-in-all, a great stay and we would definitely consider returning."

"My wife and I had rented Pound Hill Cottage for a week and have had very to our liking. The receipt by Paul immediately felt good, his wife Sue was walking with friends. In the cottage is everything, even a fireplace which we lit every night on fire ..... gezellig.Rondom the cottage you can enjoy pastures with sheep and a variety of birds in the garden, so there are in the various coffee table hiking, and other literature for the immediate area that do well in terms of distances zijn.Als daytrip we can recommend Canterbury, a great, welcoming and culturally rich city, as also the beautiful park is in the city itself ligt.Kortom, we enjoyed the environment and certain of Pound Hill Cottage."

"This year it was already the third time we had booked the cottage and once again it felt like home komen.De living room where the living room and the kitchen are located, is spacious and cozy. The bedroom and bathroom are not large but enough for us, the beds are wonderful. There is sufficient information available to go out there regularly. During our stay were the meadow 's around the cottage full of sheep and lambs which total nuisance, just enjoy the merriment of the lammeren.De Bell and Jorrocksen in Frittenden George and Dragon in Headcorn eat out are recommended. We have again enjoyed a wonderful week in Kent, Frittenden, Pound Hill cottage."
