"This was perfect for what we needed. We had 4 adults and 6 kids ranging from 1-6 and we stayed during Feb half term. i was a little worried that the cottage may be a little small for 6 active kids but its bigger than it looks on the pictures and the sofas are obviously new which was nice. the table may be a little bit of a squash for 8 adults but was fine for us. There was a slight issue when we arrived but this was quickly and effectively sorted out by the owners. It was nice to have the option to use facilities of the park although we ended up not using them that much. The baby pool was lovely and warm. The soft play was good for a wet morning and although we only went to the evening entertainment once, this was good and the kids were well entertained. There was heaps to to close by to the park. Fistral beach worth a visit and Watergate Bay is beautiful. There is a good little Pirate Experience in Newquay which the kids really enjoyed. We also visited the Eden Project for the first time which the kids loved...make sure you get a slot in the Forest School, this was great. We went to the Maritime Museum. Every school holiday on a Thursday they do Thorsday where they have Viking Events. They got the kids involved which was great. You can come and go as you please once you have a ticket so we nipped out for take out Rick Stien fish and chips which was just outside. Yummy! Your ticket for this and the Eden Project entitles you for free entry for a year. I would definitely recommend this accommodation. It was great for us but I can imagine it would get very busy in the summer."

"The Lodge is a nice spacious accommodation, but I was a little disappointed in the house keeping standards. When we arrived the key had been mislaid and told we would have a key shortly and had to chase it up after waiting for over a hour For it. Sadly on our visit the cleanliness was not great (dirty freezer - which the receptionist had sorted out for us, litter sticking out from under the sofa and a dirty shower tray in the ensuite bathroom. All easily sorted out but I didn’t expect to have to clean other peoples mess on my weekend break.) the towel rails and radiators also only became warm half way up and didn’t really keep the chill off. As we were only there for the weekend, we didn’t make a complaint other than the freezer and Key issues as we wanted to be enjoying ourselves off site not waiting to speak to someone about it."

"Relaxed straight away, early check in, glass of wine on arrival, just a shame that we only had 1 key and entrance fob per group rather than per couple. We stayed in the heatwave, staff found us a fan for one of the children who had a temperature.Hot tub was fantastic.Restaurant and bar had a good choice of drink and food and kids menu with a soft play, could of benefited from air con.Indoor pool had lifeguard it was clean and a great size, separate pool for toddlers.Only 2 downside points were the carpets were filthy my toddler who isn’t walking yet had constant black feet and knees, also the splash zone was out of order which was a shame with the great weather we had. Highly recommend, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would stay again"

"From the moment you arrive you are made very welcome by all the staff, this was our third visit here and we will be back again, the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, restaurant pool table and activities are very good, we had a truro premier lodge with our own hot tub, patio table and chairs with an area you can do barbecues, we all enjoyed it very much, the accommodation was very clean and spacious, with a dish washer, washing machine and comfortable beds, we would highly recommend piran meadows."

"Stayed in a Truro Premier lodge which was lovely. It was spacious and nicely furnished with 3 bathrooms which was great and of course the hot tub which we all enjoyed. It had great WiFi too which was much appreciated by my teenagers! The only downside was there was a bit of a smell in the lodge initially, I think it might have been coming from one of the curtains? I tried to air out the room but it didn't go so in the end I bought some Febreez and sprayed them, that did the trick!"
