What our customers are saying about our School Holiday Cottages In Stowmarket To Rent.

"What a beautiful lodge. It is very tastefully decorated to a high standard and is spotlessly clean. It has all the amenities you need. Parking enough for 3 cars, plenty of storage space. All kitchen equipment including the necessities. All towels are provided for both bathroom and hot tub plus robes. There is a utility room with washer and dryer along with ironing facilities. Beds and pillows are really comfy and black out blinds are at the windows, we slept really well. The lodge is in the middle of nowhere and a car is needed to visit local areas. There is no pub or shops in the area. Tara is very welcoming and friendly and she gave us some great recommendations for bike rides, pubs and places to go. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again and recommend."

"This was the second time we have stayed at this cottage after we really enjoyed the tranquility the cottage gave us on our first visit. Unfortunately this was not to be for the last two days of our stay there this year, the stay was not peaceful. The owners were on holiday and at the end of week the delightful house sitter left to be replaced by the owners' offspring and a group of his friends. They had no thoughts towards the paying guests in both cottages and proceeded to party during the day and into the early hours of both nights. We and the guests in the other cottage did not feel secure in confronting a group of drunken students to complain about the noise so had to endure the cacophony of noise. We shall not return to this cottage again"

"This was our second stay at Walnut Tree Cottage. The first time was for four days following Breast Cancer Surgery and I needed a quiet retreat. This fitted the bill so well. It is so quiet there and the sky is so clear and free from pollution. It's a drive to local amenities and a further drive to a larger town but it suited us perfectly. Our second, longer, stay was just as perfect. This followed my cancer follow up treatment and, again, was just what I needed. It is so easy to sleep here with no noise except the usual countryside sounds. Just be careful not to bump your head in the bedrooms! A very nice development with everything you need and lovely country walks. Just perfect."

"We had not realized the cottage was so remote. Charming but not really suitable for the elderly. Stairs steep and slippery. Side of bath was so high it was difficult to step into. Directions to the cottage only given from Stowmarket from the north and not through Hadleigh from the south. It would be helpful if they were to include 'adjacent/next door to Kimbrose which is very clearly identified. Excellent file with instructions for all the electrical equipment, but nothing indicating best shopping area for provisions (Hadleigh has a Morrisons) or pubs or medical emergency services. Otherwise an enjoyable holiday and the cottage was certainly most attractive."

"This cottage is really lovely. The rooms are spacious, full of light and beautifully and comfortably furnished and decorated. It has French doors onto a patio which receives the sun all day and into early evening. Inside it had everything we needed and lots of little luxuries on top. The owner was on hand to help with any query but our privacy was complete. From it we visited many lovely places of completely different character from traditional seaside towns, to old country villages, wildlife reserves and the Abbey Gardens and churches of Bury St Edmunds. We are not big on dining out or visiting pubs so cannot comment on that aspect."
