"We want to thank you for organising our trip to Dairy Cottage, it was all very last minute! We also want to thank Jane for being a wonderful host. We wanted to upload a review, but as we can't do that directly we've forwarded it on to you. We had a wonderful short break at Dairy Cottage over the May Bank Holiday. • Jane is a great host, we got a very warm welcome. The cottage has been put together with a lot of thought and is well kitted out. • The location is wonderful. At the top of a valley, the views are beautiful with no one overlooking the property. • Ticehurst and Wadhurst are both beautiful villages, with great pubs, delis etc. There's also Bewl water, as well as Bodiam castle, Battle, Hastings - so masses to do within 30 mins drive. The cottage is a real find. Highly recommended. "

"Historic cottage in a picture-postcard pretty village which is too small for four adults... However I would not want to take children to this cottage as it is noisy at nights and the stairs are treacherous. The owners were helpful when contacted.Furnishings were dated but efficient heating system and TV were new - although reception on most channels was dodgy. The building is historic, and listed. However something urgently needs to be done about the stairs as the tilt on one is dangerous as it tips you forward when descending."

"A lovely cottage, well equipped and Toby our dog loved the vast garden and walks through the fields. Well situated to enjoy Ashdown Forests excellent walks, many National Trust properties and the Bluebell steam railway. We experienced deer and foxes in the garden together with many different varieties of birds. Only downside whilst we were there was planes on the flight path to Gatwick and also getting used to the long rough mile long driveway. Otherwise a perfect, tranquil location with far reaching views."

"Stonehouse Farm Cottage is in a tranquil setting and is well equipped with all the homely comforts you can ask for. There is fabulous pub nearby that does simple and unpretentious food - The Huntsman. The Weald is only a short drive away for long/short walks. The Cottage is an ideal setting to be able to switch off from the hustle and bustle of the world - we engaged in painting, reading and writing and loved every minute of our stay. I would highly recommend Stonehouse Farm Cottage at any time of year."

"Good holiday not spoilt by the cottage but obviously ,details about the place where very misleading ,bedrooms were not big enough for 4 unless 2 were small children as second bedroom TINY with not enough room and the 2 beds must have been built in the bedroom to get them in and the other bedroom had the only storage space for all ,sofas gave us all bad backs because unless you were a midget you needed help to get up from them ,we even had to cut the grass ourselves 😞 so sadly would not recommend this place"
