"The bungalow is wonderfully spacious and was immaculate. A great plus point was the conservatory which was warm even in February when the sun shone on the back garden. We had afternoon tea in there each day. It is situated in the st Helen area of Hastings so some way from the sea front but has the great bonus of on site parking. We walked down to the main area each day through residential streets which were quite run down. The area where the bungalow is situated however is very nice Hastings itself is a bit shabby but the old town is lovely. The new pier is very impressive and the promenade walk wonderful. You can walk miles along it through st Leonard’s to Bexhill on sea which we enjoyed. It was a bit of a struggle at the end of the walk having to climb uphill for 1.5 miles back to the bungalow and it was no small hill. We did find it better to drive to Galley hill about 1 mile from the centre of Bexhill where you can park all day for free on De La Warr Terrace with fabulous views of the sea. You can walk either way for miles on the promenade and it’s perfectly flat, thus avoiding that long walk uphill at the end of the day. The weather the previous week had been very wet so the Hastings nature reserve was a horrendous mud bath. We couldn’t stand upright on some of the paths it was so bad. - what a pity. The bungalow made it a very quiet relaxing break -very enjoyable."

"this cottage had it all. as I am disabled this cottage was well thought out and the hand rail in the loo was a help to me. also the raised toilet seat and grab rails in the wet room. lovely to be able to have a shower and feel safe on the seat. there was even a grabber left in the dining room. my husband and myself like to have two breaks a year. and most of the time I have a job to sleep in strange rooms. but no problem staying here. slept so well. also the cottage was spotless and ian was quick to meet us and explain about the shower etc. we don,t usually return to the same places but I think we will be back."

"Lovely modern well appointed accommodation situated in a peaceful idyllic location. The spacious living/dining space was perfect for our family get-together.Ground floor bedroom and wetroom were ideal for one member of our party who is unable to manage stairs.Altogether the perfect cottage to accommodate our requirements. The service provided by the site manager and staff was excellent. Everyone was helpful and friendly; a couple of minor issues were dealt with and resolved immediately and efficiently. We would definitely recommend Pegasus and the other cottages on the site to anyone."

"A beautiful cottage David and Lynne have made this holiday home a perfect family retreat. They were so helpful and accommodating. The property is immaculately decorated with perfect little details throughout. We had a fantastic holiday a perfect base for going out for days out or staying in for the whole day. A very family friendly cottage. We will come back and visit soon."

"Lovely cottage but very small and low ceilings, not good for a tall person. The main bedroom bed was very uncomfortable and due to size of Kitchin the fridge is mini.On the plus side it’s old worldy as well as modern, great local shop and newsagent near. Location good for getting around the island driving. Very well equipped cottage and hosts great. Just not for us."
