"During our time we have spent this year in Seahaven. We have been amazed by the wildlife in the garden and in the field behind the house. In the garden there are squirrels, rabbits, foxes, and the birds we have seen include a young green woodpecker, jays, pigeons, collared dove blackbirds, greater spotted woodpeckers (red, black and white) and various other small birds like sparrows its and wrens and red legged partridges too. In the field we also saw a vixen and her fox cubs, three fallow deer and in the spring curlews and shell ducks. Just sit quietly and watch... There are many distinctive flowers in the beach. The flowers growing in the field behind is a haven all sorts of insects and butterflies. Many thanks"

"We had a great time and the property is interesting and well equipped! It has a few minor maintenance issues including some of the locks around the house being very difficult to use (I guess because of the sea air) and a tap in the upstairs bathroom that is very difficult to turn off! We had a lovely time and would very much recommend it as a holiday home. We were a little disappointed that the nearest local shop had closed (and the Fish & Chip Shop seemed to be closed for 3 weeks) since we last stayed there, but found another not too far away. Going in February half-term we found the house quite cold when we arrived, but we did manage to get it sufficiently warm despite very cold weather."

"when we stayed at this cottage in March it was not clean at all, the back door key was missing, light bulbs were not working, the range cooker was not working properly, we had already booked a return visit so were a little nervous about going back. It was cleaner this time but still not as I would expect for the amount of money we paid for a three day stay. One of the mattresses is too small for the bed frame. The blind in the second bedroom is damaged and shows light through it. The blind in the bathroom has seen better days. The patching in the downstairs toilet is done in a different colour to the original paint... white/magnolia. It all needs some attention. Disappointing."

"As we advised in a short note left for the cleaner the cottage was not at such a high standard as in our previous stay. The loo seat in the bathroom was broken as was one of the beds in the twin bedroom. When a light bulb went in the lounge there were not replacements to be found in the cottage. The garden was in a poor state with little or no colour and as for watering the hanging baskets as requested there was nothing in them to water. The one major factor that remained at a high standard was the cleanliness and we left in our note confirmation of this fact. As to whether we would revisit, as long as these problems are seen to then yes. However if not then we do not think so."

"The property was clean but is looking rather shabby in places. The kitchen window looked rotten in one corner and there was a large cobweb in the other which looked like it had been there some time. There were curtain rings missing in the top floor bedroom and some of the wallpaper is starting to peel off. The wardrobe doors don't fit properly. Outside, the patio area is covered in weeds and isn't very inviting. The guttering above the front bedroom is loose and when it was windy, made a terrible noise. The location is great for the beach but dog owners should be aware that dogs are only allowed on some parts until 1st October and banned totally on others in the area."
