What our customers are saying about our Baby Friendly Cottages In Selsey To Rent.

"We were a large group of numerous families with too many children to count ranging in age from one to ten. We all had a fantastic time. The house is very well laid out and equipped. We could have packed lighter. Plenty of space for people to come together around the large kitchen table and comfortable garden seating. Also some quiet time in the myriad room or the expansive gardens. The beach was so quiet too. We practically had it to ourselves. As a Mi.dlander I enjoyed swimming in the sea and my husband and I swam with our four year old son in the sea altogether for the first time. Magical. It was a huge bonus to be able to walk to the beach and not have to load up the car with everything you may need and then worry about parking made our beach trip so easy. We wandered to the children's park but have to confess that is all the exploring we did. The huge garden and calm sea were attractions enough to keep all the adults and children happy. In short we would happily recommend for a gathering of many families. We all expected it to be fraught but the thoughtfully organised house and garden and the location to the beach location meant that it was actually relaxing. No small feat with so many toddlers around."

"The cottage is in a lovely village and was well presented with three good sized bedrooms, but the downstairs bunk room is not as well decorated. There were lots of toys for children, the garden is great and the cottage is spacious. The things that let it down was a socket not screwed to the wall properly which was dangerous, and I reported to the owner the ensuite shower gathered water and took ages to drain to which she said, yes it has always done that, and I had to clear it as best I could. A knob on the main oven was broken and came off in my hand, which I also reported one day in to our holiday. It was obvious someone had tried to glue it back on. Whilst the owner apologised for this, by the end of the week no one had come to repair the oven knob. There was a separate grill which we managed to use as an oven but it made things difficult. I told the owner we had muddle through but it needed fixing ASAP.It was a shame about these two items and that the owner did nothing to correct them as this is a lovely cottage that we did enjoy staying in, but I would not go back because of the lack of action from the owner."

"Lovely house in a fantastic position. The house is comfortable and a place to be able to relax. Lovely soft fluffy towels and crisp bedlinen. This is an old house and it has its quirks, which is to be expected. We travelled with our dogs and the garden is secure. As a dog owner finding accommodation when travelling with dogs can be difficult.....if you want to have a little more luxury. I could fully recommend this house although it was disappointing to see that some previous dog owners had let their dog damage the kitchen door. I think that lets all dog owners down and hope this doesn't put the owners of having dogs to stay as we would like to return. My only criticism was the cleaning standard on arrival. Hard floors didn't appear to have been mopped and the cups had remains of coffee/tea in them. This was easily remedied by putting all pans plates and glasses we were wanting to be using through the dishwasher.Fantastic stay thank you."

"We had a wonderful holiday at North House. There was plenty of room for the children to play and the house was lovely and clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and the children loved exploring the rooms and finding the toy cupboards. The garden was a good size and the children were bouncing on the trampoline before we'd even unloaded the cars! One tiny quibble would be the swing-ball; no hole in the grass for the pole (which would double as a hole for a rotary washing line - just an idea). Lovely location for walks and days out at the fabulous beach, which actually took our breath away. Would definitely recommend this house for others to stay in and would love to come back some time. There will be more in our party for our holiday next May half term, so sadly North House won't be big enough, otherwise, we'd be back."

"Location is fantastic, especially for walks on the beach and around the coast with the dog. We were blessed with beautiful weather for all of our stay. The cottage is well equipped. This was our second visit to Apple Tree Cottage, the first being over a Christmas period. We did not need the open fire this time but we have fond memories of the fire during the festive period. One minor comment would be - I found it difficult getting comfortable in the TV Room. The sofa's look comfortable but I seemed to end up 'sinking' into the cushions with the result of the furniture frame under my legs which ended up uncomfortable. A minor issue and not one that would prevent us booking the cottage again.Note: the public house just across the road from the cottage is now closed meaning that a car is required to travel to the nearest pub/restaurant."
