What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Sedgehill And Semley To Rent.

"This is one of the best equipped properties we have ever stayed in. There was far more crockery etc. than 2 people would ever need for the week, and the family have thought of everything likely to be needed when self-catering. It was like staying in someone's home. In spite of the freezing weather the cottage was always warm, with the electric heating being easily controlled. The family are very considerate and helpful and thoughtfully left us a bottle of wine and vase of daffodils for our arrival. Extra personal touches include DVDs, numerous books, board games, jigsaw puzzles etc. and lots of local information, as well as general tourist information. We seldom stay in the same area twice but may well consider returning here as it is so well situated for visiting several places of interest."

"We had a lovely week here. The cottage had everything we needed. The welcome pack that was left by the owners was fantastic! The pool was great - if a little cold! But it meant that we didn't have to go out anywhere if we didn't want to because the kids were quite happy spending the day in the pool - which we had to ourselves for the whole week. The kids also really enjoyed the games room. The location of the cottage was very rural but you are only a short drive from supermarkets, pubs and civilisation! It took us over an hour to get to the coast so we only went once. But the weather wasn't great anyway and having the pool more than made up for it! Overall it was a great holiday and we would definitely go back."

"What a brilliant idea and gorgeously comfortable cottage. From the homemade touches to the exquisite furnishings, this is the kind of laid back luxury it’s impossible not to love! The surrounding area is perfect mini break territory, too: Semley’s dairy and local shop, gentle autumnal walks, a lovely dinner at the Beckford Arms and brilliant day trips to Bruton, Longleat and Messums ... We recommend the fish pie from Tisbury fishmongers too! Such a special place, thank you xx - PS The gingerbread arts and craft biscuits are so special. Betsy spotted the blue flowers on the wallpaper in our blue room. I hadn’t noticed the connection!"

"Lovely old cottage with a modern feel. The East Wing Courtney Cottage is nestled in amongst cottages and country houses in a gorgeous little village in the Dorset countryside. It is well equipped, with everything you may need for a stay away from home. Clean, beautifully decorated and fantastically quiet; we loved our stay and have no qualms recommending it to others. There is a pub serving food just 60 seconds walk away; a good range of walks up some hills are available just outside the door. The booking process was easy and contact with the property managers very courteous."

"We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It was very clean and modern. You do need a car to travel around. We visited Weymouth and Poolewhich was a good hour drive away. Stone Henge is not too far away. The village was quiet and there are no shops only a little local pub whichwe were disappointed with as it was not dog friendly,so we could only visit the pub for a quick drink and sit outside in the cold. It would have beennice to eat in there with a drink. This is mentioned on the pub website butnot on the advertisement for the cottage."
