What our customers are saying about our Two Bedroom Cottages In Saxmundham To Rent.

"A comfortable cottage for those seeking solitude in very rural surroundings whilst within 35 minutes of coastal resorts. We loved the setting, the fields and oak trees close by, plus the gardens and woods of the Clock House Estate to wander through or sit in after a day out visiting. A slight concern was the electric heating ect, through meters, and paid for at the end of stay ; this could be quite expensive in cold spells. Overall a pleasant relaxing holiday away from the hurley burley of modern life, with a most helpful Caretaker a 5 minute walk away for any problems or advice on the cottage."

"Firstly, my wife and I would like to put on record that the Suffolk Secrets team are without doubt, the best, most knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with group we have met, in all our extensive dealings with the cottage network. It has been a pleasure. The property was one of those that are extremely rare, in that it felt like a home immediately you walked in the door. Mr & Mrs Mansell are to be congratulated in making the property feel so utterly cosy. I know people often put this comment in the visitors book, but we do genuinely hope to return. Thank you all once again"

"The downstairs accommodation is comfortable and the wood burner was an added bonus. The kitchen was equipped however it was dated and could do with modernizing. The upstairs accommodation is cramped and the flooring is very creaky meaning if someone gets up in the night it wakes everyone. The bathroom is not very practical the bath is very difficult to get in and out of. It would benefit from a stand up shower. The property itself is very quaint and typically English. I think it could just do with a bit of investment in it to make it more comfortable throughout."

"Very unhappy with cottage. Stayed 3 years ago and it was wonderful. Good price and lovely. However, in 2108 (our most recent stay), the cottage is now very tired and unloved. Pots and pans in kitchen virtually unusable, bedding and beds terrible and garden left to go to ruin. Fag ends in rear garden highlights the neglect. The price is good but the value is poor and I’d question whether it should be a holiday let in the first place! Won’t be booking again and will warn family and friends against booking it. Very disappointing!"

"The cottage was well situated in Friston with good walks and pub/restaurant across the road.In general it was a nice place to stay with a dog.Plenty to see and do in the area.Main problem was exceptionally creaky floorboards in main bedroom and toilet so you couldn't move without it sounding like you were coming through the floor and the vibration went through one room to the other. We are used to living in an old house with creaks but this was something else. The bathroom is difficult if you are tall."
