What our customers are saying about our Child Friendly Cottages In Saxmundham To Rent.

"We thought the property and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. All in all the property was clean but when I had to go under sofa's to invariably fetch out kids toys I noticed a lot of dog hair and dust which wasn't pleasant to have to put my hand in. The kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms etc though were spotless. My one gripe was with kids I really needed a washing line. The drier in the utility room was fine but the weather was glorious so it seemed strange to me and a shame that I could hang all my laundry (which with kids you have a lot of!) outside. That said, we really enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would definitely recommend it to friends and possibly stay again maybe when it's a bit warmer so we could take advantage of the pool."

"This was our 2nd visit, as we have been guests there before.Loved the layout and the cosy relaxing atmosphere that the property creates. woodburners most welcome.lovely to be able to have the dogs there although the garden needed a path down to the carpark as it was very muddy!, Also as there is only a hedge surrounding the property we were unable to let the dogs out there ( only small terriers) in case they got into the field and road. Just a thought.Thoroughly recommend this to anyone and will certainly be looking to book again. We did also mend the Kitchen Roman Blind as all the cords had come out. We have our own Blind company so not a problem!!Hope this helpsMary & Steve"

"Very unhappy with cottage. Stayed 3 years ago and it was wonderful. Good price and lovely. However, in 2108 (our most recent stay), the cottage is now very tired and unloved. Pots and pans in kitchen virtually unusable, bedding and beds terrible and garden left to go to ruin. Fag ends in rear garden highlights the neglect. The price is good but the value is poor and I’d question whether it should be a holiday let in the first place! Won’t be booking again and will warn family and friends against booking it. Very disappointing!"

"Beautifully appointed, someone spent a lot of money building this cottage to a very high standard. We had a very relaxed and comfortable time. Pool was clean, although as it's solar heated, given this lousy summer it was a bit cooler than the grandkids would have liked. None of us had any mobile phone reception, but hey, it's out in the sticks! The wifi was a bit on the slow side, but again perhaps that's what you get in rural areas. And if you want to use the Aga read the instructions carefully!"

"We have just returned from a lovely week at the Stables which has all you will need for a relaxing break. It is set in lovely, peaceful grounds with a beautiful lake, and a tennis court. The owners Sarah and Bill are very welcoming and whilst they don't intrude, they are there should you have any issues. The kitchen is small and the table needs opening up to seat four, but this is only a small inconvenience. We would recommend both the accommodation and the area."
