"Lovely house well presented. Super welcome with scones and jam and cream and flowers on the table. Nice touch of dishwasher tablets/washing machine tablets/washing up liquid etc left for us. Plenty of seating. Kitchen really well equipped and bathrooms more than adequate and very clean. Enough space for everyone (two couples, one baby one older lady and three small dogs!) Beds very comfortable with nice quality linen and towels. The patios at the back were lovely but only accessed by very steep uneven stone steps which meant my elderly mum could not get up there. The patio at the front was great for her though very uneven. It did not matter to the rest of us but it would have been good to have somewhere easier for her to navigate or to have known in advance The town is great with good pub, restaurant and beach cafe so plenty of walkable options. Beach and nature trail very good for the dogs. I would happily stay there again in this house, it was excellent value for money"

"Beautiful cottage, though access by car is tricky up a very steep narrow road. You'd struggle with a long or low vehicle. Unfortunate that the larger section of bi-folding doors were broken, but at least we could still use the deck. It would be helpful if information was given about where to find the separate utility room and freezer, as we had to phone to find out. We didn't think to look in a separate building! There was also no information about recycling, and the bin wasn't emptied when it was supposed to be.Otherwise, can't really fault it. It is out of the way, but only a short walk to local amenities. The local shop is very well stocked with essentials. The views are amazing, and it was lovely to be able to lie in bed listening to the sea."

"Apartment very clean and well fitted out.Property details Should include that the property is situated at the top of a steep hill on a narrow road and NOT suitable for people with mobility issues or breathing difficulties. A couple of close encounters with vehicles whilst walking my dogs. Would add that the Smugglers Inn is an added bonus as dog friendly, friendly staff and good food.Roger, Cathy and their staff are lovely people who helped make our stay a really good one.BEAUTIFUL SITUATION BEACH 5 MINUTES WALK AWAY QUIET AND PEACEFUL PARKING ALLOCATED ON ARRIVAL LOTS OF INTERESTING PLACES TO VISIT OR JUST SIT IN THE SUNSHINE LOVELY TO WATCH DOGS ENJOYING THE SURF WALKS SPOILED FOR CHOICE"

"It had been a most enjoyable week! We have enjoyed the lovely house, the kids arguing over the pink chair. Informing me its comfy, cosy and colourful. We are so grateful for all the wonderful places nearby like the beach and the restaurants. We went to Looe (15-20 minutes away), lots of lovely shops and good places to go crabbing. The Eden Project, its amazing. The Biomes are amazing, the rainforest one in particular is extremely hot so wear light clothes. They've recently opened the walk over, so you can see things from a birds eye view. Our week has been very enjoyable and we have enjoyed every minute. Thank you so much. MH, Chelmsford."

"A fantastic home, thank you. Places worth a visit: Port Eliot House (10 minutes away) open 2pm-5pm. The best house and gardens we have ever visited. The Wave Restaurant, just down the road. Amazing views and fod. Polperro (45 minutes away). A pretty seaside village by the sea. Shipwreck Centre - Charlestown near St Austell. Well worth a visit, so much to see from hundreds of years of shipwreck treasures. Padstow (1 hour away). A really pretty fishing village in S.W Cornwall. Port Isaac (1 hour 15 minutes). The village where Doc Martin is filmed. Lanhydrock House and gardens (40 minutes) - Amazing 50 plus rooms."
