What our customers are saying about our School Holiday Cottages In Saint Columb To Rent.

"The lodge was cleaned to the highest standard, well equipped, loads of natural light, spacious and really a home from home. Location albeit by a main road didn't disturb us at all, neighbouring property not intrusive. Kath & Mick very welcoming, left us a lovely welcome back & left us to enjoy our holiday, letting us know any issues to contact them. Great information binder in the lodge with local information & recommended places to visit alongside restaurants etc. Also liked the fact of the box binder which had the instructions for all appliances, such a handy thing to have. Location central to exploring Cornwall's attractions. Being situated on the Bird of Prey Centre grounds meant there was an abundance of wildlife, not just birds of prey. The hot tub was amazing & beneficial for my disabled mother after a hard day sight seeing. We loved every second we were at the lodge, although the weather wasn't the great sunny, warm days we hoped for, we made the most of our holiday & was sad to leave to come home. What Kath & Mick have created is truly amazing & relaxing, we will visit again."

"Overall pretty pleased with the lodge. However, no pubs or shops within walking distance, or certainly none that we could find, so a car is essential. The lodge is 5 minutes from Wadebridge, 10 minutes from Padstow and 20 minutes from Newquay. It is also located very close to a busy road which you do hear, especially when sitting out the front. We used the hot tub on a number of occasions but we were sometimes unable to turn the jets on (seemed like a lack of power but could have been us!).Other than these things, the lodge is very comfortable, spacious and comes with some nice touches (good WiFi, freeview TV, Netflix etc). We also took a dog who had plenty of space to run around in a large secured garden."

"The lodge was great and very comfortable and well equipped. The owners answered our questions we had promptly and clearly before we arrived. Also supplying directions. Plenty of room for our group of 5 adults. Nice to finally find somewhere with a twin bedded room. So many places have all doubles or child size beds; when you have 2 brothers sharing they do not want a double bed or beds suitable for kids. Especially when they are 6'2" tall. So this was another bonus for us. Also, having a Birds of Prey Centre right next door; with access to it for all of our stay for one small payment per lodge, was a brilliant bonus. Village not far and close to many places of interest. Definitely recommend."

"The cottage is clean and well equipped. However it’s far too close to the road and there are no shops near by. The owners were very unfriendly, sometimes bordering on rude. To the point we was asked to come early to clean up before our check out time. The beds are very small we hardly slept a wink the whole week. The birds of prey centre is nice however the staff in the reception area are also in polite. The lodge is very very close to the road and there’s a constant traffic noise. One morning we was woke by diggers at the end of the garden only to find out it was the owner!!! He said he had no choice! I would never stay there again or recommend to anyone!"

" It is very clean, cosy and comfortable in a beautiful garden setting - we found it hard to leave the patio each day!. It is furnished to a high standard with tasteful decorative touches, and it is equipped with everything we might need for a self-catering holiday. The owners couldn't be more welcoming or helpful - nothing is too much trouble. The location is very good, quiet but with easy access to the coast and the main trunk roads to other towns in Cornwall. A wonderful holiday location. "
