"This house is so beautiful, in the middle of nature, between the farms, near the small village of Beaulieu. The house has a large garden with a large swimming pool. Beautifully laid out and well maintained. The house is really much nicer than in the pictures. Very romantic, with 2 terraces of which 1 are covered. This is one of the nicer houses in the Dordogne. From outside then ....... you walk Inward, you'll go 40 years back in time. If you like the interior of your grandmother at home, you'll find it here too. It's really old, 1970s, I think it's the furniture, The kitchen, the old dishwasher, the bathroom with a low shower faucet, the toilet, everything is really long ago. No antique but just old. Oh yes, the beds are suitable for South Europeans, not for Northern Europeans, unless you Longer than 1.80m, but if it was modernized it would be really perfect. Now it's actually too expensive for what you get. Finally, the interior is also important, the weather in the Dordogne is whimsical and occasional Do you have a day / night in. But because of the location, the architecture, and because in France most of these types of houses oubo Lely are decorated, and not to mention the very friendly welcome, we would still consider renting it again -)"

"It always goes well. On the way, it may be a bit busier than we love, but we'll forget when we're there. Very nice contact with Lydia and Fred. The house is in the gribus but that is what we, all pensioners, choose. Very quiet but we want to miss the hectic of home at once. Within all the luxuries, outside the swimming pool and the rest as it was with us 50 years ago. This year, it was far too hot for me personally. Around the 40 gr. But the pool fixes that problem again. The region is sweet to us. Everything within acceptable driving distance. The terrace in Curemonte, the waterfront of the Dordogne in Beaulieu, the cozy crowds in Collonges la Rouge, the market on Tuesday and Friday in Meyssac etc. For everybody's sake. We have been moving for 35 years in this area but we do not get enough of it. I highly recommend it. Gr. Peter Berns"

"a nice big house with a lovely swimming pool (salt water and therefore no chlorine). The owners were nice and discreet and only on request they came by (often with loads of delicious tomatoes, walnuts and the like). The pool was well suited due to the hot weather. The house is located in a distance of 20 minutes, but you will find most amenities (supermarket, bakery, gas station, etc.) and many beautiful villages (and the Dordogne River in about 30 minutes). Due to the location in the hills (echo), the (few) neighbors (and especially their dogs) can make a lot of noise at a long distance. There are hardly any hiking trails in the area, so no house for hikers."

"What a fabulous place to stay! We headed down from London in need of a relaxing few days, it could not have been more perfect. The gatehouse itself is exquisite, beautifully presented and furnished, equipped with everything we needed plus more. After a quick trip to the supermarket to stock up on food and wine we hardly ventured out for the rest of our stay. It was the perfect environment to just curl up in front of a crackling fire and let the world carry on without us for a few days. Thank you so much Chris for looking after us so well, we will be back in a few months for another battery recharge!"

"On arrival we were very kindly received by the owner. The environment, the swimming pool, the spacious house, in one word fantastic. The walk-in shower is well spacious, but additional surprise to the pool there is an outdoor shower with mixer tap, so delicious rinse after swimming or just as refreshing. The peace of the license is incredible, occasionally there is working on the fields around, nice to sow. You hear foxes in the evening, see birds of prey and swallows flying regularly, the environment and the region in general is very beautiful and interesting"
