What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Open Fires In Marloes And St. Brides To Rent.

"The Old Manor House is an old big house with big rooms. It is built on the ruins of the original manor house which was built at least 400 years ago and some of the ruins are still in the garden which gives it a lot of character. We found the cottage to be very comfortable and had every thing we needed. We stayed for a week and went out every day. The weather was better than we expected and generally better than forecast. Tenby is a lovely town to wonder through. Penralt is a very good garden centre in the north of Pembrokeshire with a lovely drive to get to it. We had a lovely drive exploring the coast from Saundersfoot to Pendine and then on to Pembury Country park. St. David's Cathedral exceeded our expectations and it also serves a lovely lunch. We highly recommend a visit to the Welsh National Botanical Gardens. Stackpole Estate including Bosherton lily lakes and Broadhaven South and Barafundle beaches are lovely places for walking - you could easily spend more than a day here. We highly recommend the cottage and the area."

"The Old Manor House was very comfortable with plenty of space and all the facilities you would expect in a holiday cottage. We enjoyed the choice of two living rooms and were able to relax in comfort. The bedrooms and bathroom were a good size and the kitchen had all the modern comforts. We enjoyed sitting and playing in the garden when the weather allowed. The clothes line in the back garden was useful for drying clothes. The location was close to a supermarket for provisions and well located for exploring all parts of Pembrokeshire. There was nowhere really to walk so a car was essential. There is so much to see and do in this region. Our daughter loved the Blue Lagoon Water Park which was a godsend on rainy days. There are lovely towns to explore like Tenby, Haverfordwest, Narberth and St Davids as well as a beautiful coastline and beaches like Barafundle and Whitesands. The owners live next door and were very welcoming and helpful. We hope to be back one day."

"Hello, and thank you for the opportunity to be able to give some feedback regarding my family's recent stay at the cottage, Most of all was as it was advertised however there was no Wi-Fi at all neither any other channels on the TV as there was only the one which was due to poor signal at the property, normally this wouldn't matter as most people visit these locations for walking but as it was Christmas week we would have likes to have watched some Christmas TV. The main concern at the moment is the deposit which was for the cleaning bond of £ 125.00 this has not yet been returned to myself after meeting the requirements of Mrs Davies to pay within the 7 days of your stay which we done. It does also state that the money will be returned within the 7 days of departure, it is now 8 days and no money or no contact from Mrs Davies. Please can you look into this for me ASAP thank you. Mr West."

"A very pretty cottage, furnished to a very high standard with a well equipped kitchen. It is dog friendly, and the owners provide a really comfortable dog bed, as well as a lovely welcome pack including tea, coffee, Welsh cakes, and wine. The rear garden is enclosed and perfectly safe for dogs, and there is a barbecue and outside seating. The cottage can accommodate 5 people, but I don't think the bathroom facilities are adequate for this, and the bedrooms are certainly not. There are two average sized bedrooms with twin & double beds, but the third room is only large enough to accommodate a single bed with a small cabinet at the foot - not suitable for someone who feels the heat and might be slightly claustrophobic. The village is very friendly, and is a good location to visit Pembrokeshire."

"It had well equipped kitchen which was great for us as we prefer not to eat out.E. turn left off the A487 at the ' brown sign' and marked also to Caerchefell just before St Davids. We came from the other direction ( Havordfordwest ) where there is .exactly the same 'brown ' sign though not marked to Caerchefell as you leave Solva. We decided , in our wisdom, that is where we should turn right and ( luckily as it was daylight) managed to navigate down some country lanes to the cottage. This would have been tricky in the dark !!. It might be helpful if the directions from the South say " ignore first brown sign sited just after leaving Solva, carry on the A487 through St Davids and after approx. 3 miles turn right at 'brown sign' also marked Caerchefell." Hope this is helpful."
