"The property is located less than 1 minute walk from a water treatment works (check google maps). The house is a decent size, our family of 5 however was not accommodated for. We couldn’t use a bedroom because of the unbearable stench coming from all of the animal droppings on the floor (photos below), thus my two daughters had to sleep on the sofa. The dishwasher that is advertised does not work, as it is not even attached to a water source, so ignore the advertisement on the cottage page. The deposit seemed very illegitimate, on the website it says £50 deposit, the owner asked for £100, and after looking at reviews others have been charged up to £150 for deposit! Be aware of paying deposit on this place due to its condition and poor sanitary levels. There is one bathroom and another en-suite shower only room, this shower leaks onto the master bedroom floor, not enough kitchen equipment for 5 people. Get pest control in, we are included in the last few guests who spotted rats by the bins"

"Ash cottage was a lovely homely place with modern features. The welcome box is a superb idea and does help if you arrive late, although there is a large Tesco in Milford haven around 10 mins away . It is a lovely area, peaceful, to stay in. All main towns and scenery are around 40mins away. Milford haven is lovely for eateries although gets very busy at night. Bowling place is great there for wet days. Plenty of areas to visit - all round good place to stay. We didn’t get chance to visit the play room but the gym is very smart and you can sit and read in there too. Outside areas to cottage are lovely if you wanted to sit and enjoy the sun too. We wish the owners all the very best for the future. It was lovely to meet them and they were on hand if needed."

"The cottage was very clean and comfortable. And decorated tastefully throughout. But after staying in many cottages before we were slightly disappointed in the lack of a welcome pack. After a 5 hour drive and arriving in the dark and pouring rain we were disappointed to find just an inch of milk in a 4 pint milk container in the fridge, 6 tea bags and barely 2 Tsp of coffee. So this meant having to go out again to shop before unpacking. Just as well we didn't have young children with us!! Also two light bulbs not working in the kitchen and neither was the clock. Also the remote control for TV upstairs also didn't work. Only minor issues, but feel these should have been noticed before guests arrive."

"Lovely little cottage in a gorgeous village right by the water. My wife and our 2 kids (8 and 5), had plenty of space, generally very comfortable. Lots of lovely walks nearby with stunning scenery. The village has a little shop where the owner was very helpful, we needed some logs for the log burner and although he didn't stock them he delivered some of his own later that day. Good local pub, and very friendly local cricket/rugby club. You have to have a car if you want more shops etc. But this place is about getting away from it all, lovely and quiet and relaxing. Only thing that could be better is having a king size double rather than a standard double in one of the rooms. Good size garden too."

"Oysterbank Cottage is a lovely base from which to explore Pembrokeshire. The cottage is spotlessly clean and tidy, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a family self-catering holiday. Parking the car outside the cottage is ideal, and there is a very well-stocked mini-supermarket a few miles away as well as a small shop in the village. The bedrooms are comfortable and there is plenty of storage space throughout the cottage. The owners have help on hand locally in case any issues arise (which they didn't, but it was good to know), and there is a good variety of tourist information in the cottage to help plan your holiday. We would definitely stay here again."
