"Our holiday was not at all a relaxing one as on arrival the hoover was over full and unusable. When setting the table for our first meal we thought that the place mats and coasters were heavy and hard to pick up but it transpired that the surface of the table was extremely sticky ( as if it had been varnished recently and not dried off properly) and everything stuck to it - including our elbows!! Between the sofa cushions there were food crumbs. The Kitchen bin had mould on the inside of the lid and was filthy at the bottom inside as we're the bathroom bins. The frying pans and saucepan were scratched and beyond use. Dishwasher unusable as a 1hr 15min cycle took nearly 3 hours. The boiler tripped out daily-no hot water on arrival and subsequently none each time it tripped. The en-suite shower was blocked so you stood in an inch of water while showering, when my 84 year old father unblocked it with a plunger (at his own cost) it became clear that the pipes are connected to bathroom next door and that there was a leak because after that there was a large puddle in the hallway beneath. There were cigarette butts on the ground in the patio area. Will never go back to Hillcroft."

"We enjoyed a lovely family holiday at Rosepark. The house is light and spacious, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. A lot of thought has gone into providing everything you could need. The downstairs bedroom, shower room and ramp to the front door meant that an elderly relative with limited mobility was able to come along too and have a much needed holiday. The countryside view from the back of the house and patio is beautiful and the hot tub an added bonus. The location is good. It is only a 10 minute drive to Haverfordwest for groceries, although we did an online grocery shop in advance, which was delivered shortly after we arrived and worked well.Solva and St Davids are within easy reach. Martin's Haven for boats to Skomer is about 30-40 minutes drive. You have to get there early (we got there at 7.30am) but well worth it!Booking and communication with the owner was easy. Would recommend this property."

"Great cottage in the countryside, with nice owners. The cottage has three double bedrooms one ensuite. Large kitchen and two living rooms. Both living rooms have a television. The main living room has patio doors front and back leading onto a small garden overlooking the countryside and the other door leads to a courtyard for parking your car. There is a garage that can be used to store bikes surf boards or wetsuits, etc. The cottage has broadband which is reasonably fast for a place in the countryside. Although the cottage is in the middle of nowhere, which is great to see all the stars on a clear night sky, its only about 15mins drive to some great beaches. It is also nicely situated to get to a lot of site seeing places like Tenby, St David's, Pembroke castle or Oakwood theme park.Would definitely recommend this cottage."

"St David's is a lovely place to stay but I couldn't recommend this cottage. The boiler was on the blink and we had to re-set it 6 times in our 4 night stay, to get hot water. The shower in the family bathroom was useless - water fell out of it straight down, no water pressure at all. The bathroom doorknob was loose and kept coming off - no good for children! The kitchen was dark (missing lightbulbs) and poorly equipped - for instance old and scratched frying pans with loose handles. It had not been cleaned properly - there were old leftover packets of rice and pasta and even dog biscuits in the cupboards. Altogether the cottage was a disappointment. I've emailed the agent and they haven't replied so I can't recommend them either!"

"The cottage was well equipped and in a perfect location. Unfortunately, although it was advertised as non smoking it stank of cigarettes, especially in the bedrooms and we found cigarette ends and drinks bottles under the beds. This was awful, especially as we had a baby with us, and despite airing & cleaning we couldn't get rid of the smell. Some of the furniture was stained and the downstairs bedroom smelled musty and needs an update. The kitchen was great with plenty of room and equipment, again it could have been cleaner; the cooker was dirty, pots were dirty and there was no grill pan. We had a good time and the cottage could be a really great place to stay if these issues were adressed."
