What our customers are saying about our Bank Holiday Cottages In Manchester To Rent.

"Fabulous stay at the wonderful marl house farm. Both bedrooms were very nice and spacious as was the bathroom with its roll top bath and separate shower cubicle. The living area was spacious with a lovely log burner and stone fireplace and the spiral staircase adds a touch of the unusual to it. The large farmhouse kitchen has everything you could need and the small enclosed courtyard area has seating and a bbq. We also bought fresh eggs from next door and the welcome bottle of wine was much appreciated and a lovely touch. The scenery in the area is stunning and we found it easy to walk with our dogs to the nearest pub just over a quarter of a mile away as a local told us about going through the wood opposite which comes out a few yards away from the house so no need to walk down the main road that has no path. The only downside for us could have been the noisy traffic as the bedrooms back onto a busy main road but we just bought some earplugs and the noise was gone. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend it to anyone! Hope to come back again."

"This is a superb holiday cottage and we've been several times. Excellent level of fitout internally and a great location, offering fantastic value for money. All the little touches that make the difference are thought about and whilst you're left to your own devices, the owners are always available whenever needed. The kids love playing with the friendly dogs as well as feeding the goats giving a wholesome, outdoor experience. The only minor negative is the busyish road running immediately adjacent to the property, which may be a problem for light sleepers, but a minor inconvenience at an otherwise 10/10 cottage. Will definitely come back...again!"

"Fantastic support - there was a problem with the heating and hot water on the first night but the response was immediate and everything was back up and running before the snow arrived. The snow was very heavy but the proximity to main travel routes ensured that access was maintained. The cottage location provides for a good range of walks, National Trust and local amenities. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. The hosts provide friendly and assured support in the event of any problems."

"There were wonderful views from the upstairs windows. It was good to have two entrances, one into the kitchen/living area, and the other directly to the bedroom/bathroom. It meant that as older people we didn't need to walk down a slope. There was a good fridge and everything you need to cook. If you like to be in the country, then this place will not disappoint you. There were stables on site, too. There is a good wood burning stove, as well as other heating."

"Excellent lodge, everything very clean and didn't smell of dog even though it was a doggy friendly one. Had gate fitted to the openings of the decking which was perfect for letting our dog lie outside while we were in the hot tub. Went in October half term and the lodge was toasty warm all the time (we switched the heating off a few times because it got too hot), perfect for when you are coming back from a cold day of hiking. Hot tub fab."
