"Just a quick note to say how much we all enjoyed our stay at Ropewalk Cottage. The views were wonderful and we managed some great walks nearby on the Heart of England way (although we didn't look quite as professional as most!). The rooms were extremely comfortable, very clean and the house well equipped. Perfect size for our extended family. We loved the nespresso machine and the dishwasher:-)) The one thing we felt was missing was a broom - (as my sisters kids left a lot of toast crumbs!). and we weren't sure about how to recycle plastics? Otherwise it was great! I'm sure the garden and BBQ will get more use in the summer - but I enjoyed one sunny morning having breakfast there until the clouds re-appeared. We managed to find some local NT properties - Snowshill Manor is just up the road about 4 miles away and is completely unique - well worth a visit, and especially if you like Samurai armour! Broadway Tower was also great - the views reminded me of Tara..and a very nice lunch to be had in the coffee shop there too. We managed to get over to Burford where my sister and family had a fab day out at the zoo - highly recommended and kept the kids happy. Personally, I was happy perusing the shops and drinking coffee and eating cake in Huffkins:-)"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this spacious and well equipped house. The swimming pool was a hit with the younger members of the party as were the trampoline and play equipment in the extensive grounds. The pool was clean and well maintained. It was kept warm enough (28 deg C) so that everyone could enjoy it, without fear of 'freezing'!Because there was so much to keep the children occupied, we didn't leave the house much. There are, however, many attractions not far away. We would recommend 'All Things Wild' and a visit to Hiller's Farm Shop, about a mile up the road, is a must. The owners, who live next door, were very friendly, helpful and not at all intrusive. The only small niggle was the requirement to pay for fuel (presumably for pool heating) and electricity separately. Electricity was by meter reading and seemed excessively expensive. We would have much preferred it had these costs been included in the letting price. Our time in New Inn House was a memorable success and we wholeheartedly recommend it as a great place to stay."

"This is a lovely cottage and an ideal base for Warwick and the Cotswolds. It was easy to get to from the motorway but in a very quiet a peaceful area of countryside. A very warm welcome from Amanda and Roy who were very helpful with any information. The cottage is well equipped and we really did not need to bring anything with us. The fresh eggs and cake were also very much enjoyed. The cottage is a good size with plenty of room for a family of 4.The children loved feeding the new born lambs and it was very relaxing looking out at the lambs in the field right next to the cottage. Lovely garden big enough for the children to run around in. Despite the peaceful location it was only a short journey to local attractions such as Warwick castle and the British Motor Museum. The Antelope Inn nearby was good for meals. It is close to the Cotswolds and easy to get around there. An ideal base for the area and friendly owners. If we come back to the area we would definitely consider staying there again."

"This is not a pretty Cotswold cottage and is located on a housing estate but don't let that put you off. Wren's Nest is a cosy and compact bungalow which has everything needed for two people and maybe a dog to have a comfortable stay. The property is extremely well equipped with a good range of cooking and cleaning equipment. Everthing was spotlessly clean and the owner made us very welcome showing us round personally. She kindly left us some Christmas presents and a bottle of wine and decorated the house which made it extra special for Christmas. The house is only five minutes walk from the historic centre of Moreton which as a good range of shops and cafes, we would partcularly recommend the butchers and the cheese shop. It is also only a short walk into open countryside which we appreciated for walking out dog while there are also secure gardens front and back. All in all we were very satisfied with this property and would consider coming back if we returned to the Cotswolds."

"We have been taking cottage holidays in the UK pretty much every year for the past 28 years. We have stayed in some very nice places but The Warren is undoubtedly the best. The cottage is spacious and comfy but it’s the welcome and hospitality you receive from Amanda and Roy and the surroundings that make it outstanding. Huge expanses of open sky. We were greeted with home-baked scones and a dozen eggs from the hens. The hens are round your feet in the garden and the sheep, kid-goats and geese (penned up!) are just a stone’s throw away. We were lucky that it was harvest time because Roy offered to take me out on the combine harvester which was brilliant. It is extremely quiet (owls hooting through the night) and there’s no light pollution so if you get up in the night for a pee, it’s very dark! We are early-risers but if you’re not, take earplugs because the cockerel and the sheep will wake you up!"
