What our customers are saying about our Baby Friendly Cottages In Leek To Rent.

"A lovely location and a beautiful part of the world. The accommodation is small but quirky and well-designed overall. There were a few touches missing which might be nice to add to make the place feel really special, eg. larger bath towels; some chopping boards in the kitchen; a cloth to wipe down the kitchen surfaces; clean and comfortable cushions to go in the outside chairs (the ones in the utility building were in very poor condition); a large mirror in the bedroom near a power socket; an outdoor dining table so you can have a proper meal out there (there is a small table but it is only suitable for cups or glasses); a folder of information on the location and nearby things to see and do - instead of the pile of leaflets by the staircase and visitors' notes on which pubs they had enjoyed. Also, we bought some feather pillows in Leek as the pillows provided were foam and lumpy and very uncomfortable.During our stay the Wifi was not working for half of the week (though Joe did get it fixed) and the tumble drier was not working at all."

"The cottage was tastefully and comfortably furnished. It was well equipped and the location was peaceful and pleasant. We found we could not open the doors, as flies posed a problem, but there was a `zapper' in the kitchen to deal with their activities; there was a sadistic pleasure in hearing them `bite the dust'! Jacie was very welcoming and helpful, she had provided fresh milk and shortbread on our arrival; this was very considerate. The location allows trips to a variety of attractions, yet there are nice walks to be had from the cottage, itself."

"A huge holiday house with lots of room for our party of six. We never felt on top of one another due to the space in the house. The owner provided everything you could possibly think of, with more than enough towels for our week's stay, plastic plates & cups for children and full Sky TV. Huge, comfortable beds and a lovely big dining table which we often sat around with a glass of wine! The house is only a 10 minute walk into the town and around a 25 minute drive to Alton Towers. We've booked several houses with Sykes before, but this was by far the best."

"Lovely cottage if you want to be in the depth of the countryside. In small village, just a few houses, a farm and surprisingly a junior school. Only slight problem was the water tank and wc in the bathroom adjacent to the double room both had leaky ball valves and did a fair impression of the Chinese water toucher at night. This could be easily fixed. Well equipped kitchen, better than many we have used and decent log burning stove to supplement storage heating if required."

"The boat house is compact but fine for two with great views from all round. Steep incline down to the house but enclosed and secluded. Good facilities inside although sofas do need replacing and the bath is quite high so can be hard to get in and out. There is a hairdryer at the property but no plug near a mirror so hard to see what you are doing. My main issue was clothes storage and storage in general of cases. No real wardrobe or drawers in bedroom."
