What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Open Fires In Kent To Rent.

"A wonderful cottage with all the equipment and facilities you might need. If fact the best equipped holiday home we have ever experienced (including lots of mugs, coat hangers and pegs). The place has been recently refurbished to a high standard. Full sized dishwasher, washing machine and separate tumble dryer was welcome. Though no on-site parking we usually managed to park right outside or a few houses away. Short walk to the sea and similar short walk into the town, which had a lovely feel to it. Great promenade for long walks with the dog. Aldi and Waitrose within walking distance plus several good places to eat. Lots of charity shops to browse and mostly independent shops. The only downside to Ziggy's is being next to a popular pub garden. The conversations can be clearly heard during the day and evening, but we used a bluetooth speaker in the garden to mask that out, which worked to some extent. Overall Ziggy's is a really good place to stay and we highly recommend it."

"Ziggys place is AMAZING! We absolutely loved it here - spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, comfy bed and sofa, everything you could need facility wise, great location, I can go on and on. We spent many hours wondering if Margaret would sell to us so we could live there! The only negatives are the ones mentioned by a lot of people - parking on the street is difficult, but there was ample parking within a 2 min walk. Then the pub next door - yes it borders the house, yes there is some noise and yes I can imagine that can be annoying in the summer and if you want to sleep before 11pm. But we really didn't find it a problem - there was occasional 'drunk noise' after 11pm but it was fleeting and didn't bother us at all."

"Ziggy's Place is a fabulous gem of a house and garden which is well appointed and presented, with everything you need for a relaxing break. It is only a short walk to the sea front, Hythe town, Military Canal and Dymchurch Railway. We have been regular visitors to Hythe over the last few years, normally staying in a hotel, but now we have discovered Ziggy's Place we hope that it can become our new base.We have noticed that the owner is now not accepting pets to stay we hope that they would consider, using their discretion, to allow previous guests to bring their dogs.We recommend this property."

"We had a fantastic week staying at Ron's house. It is in a wonderful location, across the road from the beach and a short walk to great restaurants, pubs and local shops. The house is spacious and comfortable with plenty of space for 9 people and a dog. It has recently benefited from a bathroom being installed on the 3rd floor. It is ideal for families or friends. It is well equipped and we especially enjoyed the games room with table tennis and table football. We would love to come back."

"Howes Cottage - Two Bedroom House, Sleeps 3 5 STARS Opened the door to reveal a beautiful little cottage. Went through to the kitchen to be greeted to real tea and Kent biscuits plus a bottle of wine. Then up to the bedroom oh such nice decor and good quality bedding looked super. We felt very at home and explored a lot of the area. There was nothing else we needed. Thank you for a great week and we certainly would recommend highly. Date of arrival - July 22, 2019"
