"The setting in the heart of Bronte country is spectacular. The cottage is perched in a beautiful spot only a 2 mile walk from Top Withins (the location Emily Bronte had in her mind to base the house Wuthering Heights). The cottage itself is a beautifully converted barn which blew us away. It is flawless , tasteful and spotlessly clean. Lovely flagstone floors with underfloor heating on the ground floor and gorgeous oak floorboards upstairs. Cheeky wooden beams and solid oak furniture adorn the cottage and you definitely won't be disappointed by the king size bed and feather down duvet! The owners have literally thought of everything you may need and we're excellent at communicating - nothing was too much trouble. And to top it all off....a hot tub...with stunning views. Plus a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates amongst other goodies are waiting welcome you. There is space for dogs and small children to run off some energy before relaxing in front of a HUGE TV, complete with Sky and internet access. I must also mention how peaceful it is, just the sound of birdsong and the distant call of game and horses. I simply cannot praise this accommodation enough and if you are in any doubt....please don't delay. Book today! You will LOVE it!!!!!"

"First the positives; you absolutely can not fault the location and views for this property. A text from the owner about a week before with excellent directions (and even a handy tip about the tour de Yorkshire) was greatly received. On arrival we found lovely welcome gifts of Bubbles and cake in the fridge. Beautifully spacious house with ample room for everyone. Well stocked cupboards of crockery, pots and pans etc left us wanting for nothing. Brilliant outdoor entertaining area (which we made the absolutely most of thanks to the fantastic weather). There aren’t really any negatives but if I was going to make any suggestions to make this a 10 out of 10 property they would be; a new bbq on the patio area would be a fab addition especially when the weather is as fab as we had it, being a pet friendly property (which is awesome) it might be worth securing the patio area to prevent young woofers wandering toward the lane (ultimately it is the responsibility of the doggies owner but it would be great peace of mind), a patio heater or fire pit might be a nice addition for cooler evenings. As I say these are not criticisms at all just observations and we would absolutely be happy to stay here again. (Stayed 5-7th May)"

"The cottage is located in a lovely area of countryside with beautiful views from the property although getting to it involves some particularly narrow country lanes! The property itself was generally clean although a hoover would have been useful to keep on top of things as we had our dog with us and the weather was not to good (it was wet). The facilities in the cottage were fine and the bed was very comfortable. One thing that dog owners should be aware of is that there is nowhere to walk the dog from the house other than along the aforementioned country lanes. There is however a large enclosed field which belongs to the owners, adjacent to the property which was ideal for letting the dog run around in. It is in a very quiet location, perfect for a relaxing getaway but you will need to get in the car to see anything of the area."

"This is such a cosy home from home with some very thoughtful added extras. It has everything you could possibly need and is in a fantastic location. If you have any mobility issues it is probably not for you (steep cobbles and entry steps), but it's so central to everything in Hebden Bridge with its numerous places to eat and lots of shops to browse. We walked to Gibson's Mill at Hardcastle Crags in about an hour and a half and if you head up the cobbles and turn left there is a good little circuit you can walk. The garden is a lovely place to sit - fab for a sunny breakfast. Young children would need very careful supervision in the garden as it's very steep but this is a true gem of a cottage and I would love to return."

"We enjoyed a week break in Lee cottage. Very spacious yet homely feel to the cottage, which was ideal following a day of exploring the local area. The cottage is ideally situated and just a short walk away from Hebdon Bridge with its numerous restaurants and pubs. The cottage has 3 decent sized bedrooms upstairs and a single bedroom downstairs just off the kitchen area. A good sized bathroom with jacuzzi bath with was a treat after a day of paint-balling! The master bedroom also has a well equipped en-suite.Beautiful view to the rear of the cottage and a large garden which gets the sun well into the afternoon, even in April. We had a fabulous stay at Lee cottage and look forward to returning soon."
