What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Gardens In Hastings To Rent.

"The barn is in a lovely quiet countryside position. Only minutes away from Hastings Beware though as not stated in the description there are the owners Geese/Chickens and Rabbits running free outside the fence to the barn. If we had known beforehand we would not of booked as we have a Jack Russell so had to keep an eye on him. The barn is well furnished, comfortable and clean. The kitchen is big and well equipped. Good to have the downstairs bedroom for parents who struggle with stairs but the shower is very small. Our mattress was a bit springy and pinged when you turn over. Would of been nice to have tea making facilities handy on arrival after a long journey. We had food delivered as many takeaways in Hastings of different kinds who deliver. Good walks close by for the dogs. In all we had a very good weeks stay. Weather was good to us too."

"Overall very pleased with the accomodation and location. It was very well equipped and clean although the mattresses on the beds are a little tired. The snooker table is a welcome asset although it is most definitely not a full size table as stated in the description! Also, please be aware that although it states in the description that the property is dog friendly and the garden is enclosed, the fence is very low and the owners have 6 geese and about a dozen chickens running free just outside the fenced area, not to mention the hoards of wild rabbits! None of this was mentioned in the brochure description but had it been I would not have chosen this property as my dog is a German Pointer and they do not mix well with farmyard animals! A more honest description would be better for everyone! A nice break though."

"Dolphin Cottage was an absolute delight. Perfectly positioned adjacent to the East Cliff in Hastings and in the old town. The cottage is well equipped and many thanks to the owner for the welcome pack and for meeting us and showing us around. We and our boys (15 and 12) had a fantastic week exploring Hastings and visiting Battle, Brighton, Dover Castle, Rye, Camber and many other other places! The car parking was easy in the public car park 300 yards from the cottage and we never had trouble finding a space even though it was half term week and busy. The location came into its own in the evenings when we would walk out to find somewhere to eat - the restaurant at the pier is great. Would 100% recommend to families or couples looking for a comfortable cottage close to amenities. We hope to return! "

"The cottage is dark and gloomy and the décor is from the 1970's. There is no view of the pool or gardens, just the tennis court and car park. the bed is extremely hard and uncomfortable. The temperature of the pool makes it unusable for more than 5 minutes at a time. The owners had a house party when we were there but did not inform us that this was happening and the music thumping away into the night. We did not feel comfortable sitting out as we had to walk through the other guests garden to get there, disturbing them.Overall, this is the worst holiday cottage I have stayed at. As shame as the area is lovely."

"We booked The Boat House because of the hot tub games room & gym which were great especially as the weather was wet. Plenty of towels provided and even a dog towel bowl and bonios. We were disappointed that the house was on a busy road and roundabout but the double glazing proved effective. The third bedroom was really only suitable for a single or bunk beds. The owners provided a lovely welcome pack and as it was Easter there were Easter chocolate bunnies for the children whilst the adults enjoyed the wine. The gardens were well thought out but due to weather we were unable to enjoy them."
