"We have around old and new bivouacked at Maison de la Creuse a nice quiet week away from the fireworks "terror" in the Netherlands. Celles sur Plaine hardly heard fireworks at midnight. The house, rather old, is very well equipped, with a mishmash of styles. Everything you may need is a comfortable sofa, comfortable beds, two fine (modern) bathroom, plenty of room for our party of 5 adults and 1 dog. Good central heating heating, wifi, dishwasher, washer, dryer, lots of books, LPs, DVDs' s very complete. The area is also in the winter (we had mild weather and little rain) for trips and walks., There were only very few restaurants open, we had to Raon l 'Etape and Col de Donon. Although the house is comfortable, there are also a number of improvements to name the driveway is tricky with the height (unshielded) with the neighbors if you're not careful & quothang "you. The garden was, despite confirmation of the caretaker, do not dog-"proof". Our dog ran disagree with the neighbors, he had gone through a hole in the fence. Furthermore, we found several finishes in the house very moderate, eg the floor in the living room, the kitchen, ceilings in living room and kitchen, etc. We wonder how the cleanness"

"We have two weeks with our four children had lots of fun during our stay at Chalet Bleu.Ruim and clean house with lots of privacy and fully equipped, incl garage. Furthermore, peace, space and many are natuurschoon. We to Strasbourg and Kolmar been; worth. You can swim in the lake Lac sur Plaine (also pedal). This lake is also a playground and across the street is a small "amusement park" with large inflatables, go-karts, climbing wall, archery, and possibility to a funband behind a speedboat to bounce (surcharge). Here and in the big lake can be sailed with rented or brought canoe / kayak and boat (no outboard!, Or electric) and can be fished. The only thing we caught a snake, also nice. Swim only in the small lake (water is cold). There are plenty of hiking trails throughout the gebied.Supermarkten within a circle of 12 km (Raon the le stage), also a baker in the village with a minisuper.Kortom, an excellent accommodation and a beautiful environment for people who like a quiet holiday love ."

"We were initially pleasantly surprised by the low price of this house. Then we also have seen why the house is dilapidated, with a collapsed cobbled electricity installation and ditto sockets, an old stove on gas that does not meet any safety standards whatsoever, a highly outdated, dirty oven, half-finished rooms with pieces of ceiling that separates and here and there, more or less covered with a with stains covered carpeting, mattresses with disgusting stains, dirty stuff, a dishwasher having the filter in an eternity was not cleaned and covered with mold, a shower where the fungus also rampant, kitchen cupboards filled with expired foods, etc. Our holiday was thus launched a basic cleaning to make the house still somewhat livable. However we had to pay 78 euros for our opinion, barely existing cleaning! This house would no longer be rented considering its condition, even at a low price."

"Hi Michele and Frans, I just wanted to thank you both for making our stay at your chateau a memorable and delightful one. It was a perfect way to spend my birthday week and I especially appreciate your fine cooking for my birthday dinner. My friends from near and far haven't stopped talking about how much they enjoyed themselves and how much fun they all had. Your hospitality certainly made a big contribution to that. I hope the last couple of weeks have gone well and that the summer and fall will continue to be profitable and enjoyable for you, too. I went back to work this past Monday, so the busyness of the beginning of the school year sometimes tends to obscure my happy summer memories. But I keep them alive by telling my colleagues what a great time I had. Perhaps our paths will cross again. It would be a delight. Thanks again."

"The welcome by the manager was friendly and the house was fine cleaned. But it turned out to be in rather poor condition, and older than the photo 's have us believe. It is on a road on the outskirts of the village, with neighbors all around. The enclosed garden at the house in one word fantastic. But the house itself we felt pretty worn, broken impractical, messy decorated with unnecessary maintenance. it is also quite dark. the TV room is upstairs, under the roof. the kitchen is small, microwave and oven standing in a side room. The shower fan can not be switched off and thus turns day and night non-stop. The bathroom is good. The wifi works to behoren.Celles-sur-Plaine is a fairly boring village with no real attractions. The beautiful surroundings is well suited for walking and cycling."
