What our customers are saying about our Coastal Cottages In Gateshead To Rent.

"Wonderful location with scenic walks in every direction from the cottage’s door, view to the lighthouse, surrounding fields and golf course, and lots of entertainment from the friendly ponies; perfect for dog walking too. The cottage has all that’s needed for a cosy holiday, comfy beds, wet room shower, underfloor heating in the bathroom, log burner in the lounge, night storage heaters in all the rooms, clean and tidy throughout. The kitchen, especially the fridge-freezer, is small for a family, but with supermarkets close by, that’s no real problem. The owners are on hand next door and very welcoming and friendly. Ample parking within an enclosed charming small garden, with two seating areas for those sunny days. Bird watchers should take binoculars, as owls, hawks and others all around. Be warned, the fields can be muddy, so pack some boots and spare towels too. We enjoyed our stay very much and may well return soon."

"A really well-kept house, lovely and clean and newly refurbished to a modern standard. Owner very thoughtful, lots of little extras provided. Garden nice to sit out in with decking and lawn. Very close to cliff-top walks and small local shops/cafes/pubs. Don't expect parasols and cocktails on the beach! It is rugged and the weather can be windy but it is beautiful for walking. A few points to note: neighbours parking can make it difficult to get in and out of the parking spot; the toilet facilities are upstairs so not suitable for disabled."

"Starlight House is a lovely, comfortable residence nicely furnished and decorated to a high standard and very well equipped,I am not surprised it has won a Gold award. The location was excellent for local shops, pubs etc and within 5 minutes walk of a lovely beach.Great walks in all directions and ideal for walking my dog.The owner provided a welcome pack of teabags, milk and some lovely biscuits also a bag of doggy treats for my dog Sam.I thought this was a lovely touch and the items were much appreciated by Sam and I."

"A very nice, well presented property in a good location Well equipped with some nice extra touches left by the owners. One serious omission is the lack of a shower which is a puzzlement for a new apartment, although I understand this is to be addressed very soon. For anyone with joint problems thi can be a problem not so much as getting in but getting out of a bath. I would also suggest a small grab rail be considered. Apart from that everything else was ideal."

"The property is located within perfect driving distance to Blyth, Whitley and Tynemouth where you can take full advantage of the history of these places and the lovely beaches they have to offer. More locally to the property you can visit the village of Bedlington where vast amenities are available. The property is also situated near to a local woodlands and park where you can walk to within minutes and enjoy the general countryside."
