What our customers are saying about our Baby Friendly Cottages In France To Rent.

"The cottage was beautifully decorated with a fabulous range of artwork on display in every room (including toilet). It is a big, so more than enough room for a family or a couple with three dogs (like us). The grounds are big as well so plenty for children and dogs to explore, although the gardens were a bit overgrown so need a bit of work. Very quiet and peaceful. The owners have left a very comprehensive personalised guidebook for the local area which we used a lot. The cottage is in a reasonable location for seeing the sights of Normandy with the various D Day beaches around 30-60 min drive away . Bayeux is about a 60 min drive away. Mont St Michel about a 90 min drive. The nearest town, Periers, is about 20 min drive away. The local village has a small shop with the most basic goods on sale, but nothing else. So if you like to eat out each night, you'll need to drive at least 20-25 minutes to find something. The cottage said it has wifi but this is limited and indeed I couldn't get it to work while I was there. Generally a fantastic cottage and we hope to go back soon."

"This is a lovely house, on a quiet gated estate about 10/15 mins walk from St Remy along a small canal. The house was well equipped, very clean and a good layout. The pool was small, but was very warm and inviting. The area is beautiful, with many places to visit locally and there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops in St Remy. I think the addition of a barbecue and a book with local information (doctors, hospital, taxi telephone numbers etc) are the only things required to make this house perfect."

"A few niggles but nothing that would stop us returning. Some pieces of furniture on their last legs, which were fixed or replaced whilst we were there, one bathroom sink would not empty and a dripping downstairs loo tap, only three sunbed cushions for eight sun beds and a pretty minging kettle which needs replacing - all easy fixes which should really be carried out as the cost would be minimal. Apart from that it was excellent and really good value."

"Beautiful cottage in lovely quiet location. Very very hot when we were there so grateful that the bedroom was downstairs in the cool. Ideal for a romantic or quiet getaway although lots to see and do within a short drive. Lovely helpful owner who only speaks French but it really isn’t a problem as her neighbour communicates well. The house is very well equipped with everything you are ever likely to need for a lovely stay Deceptively spacious."

"We had a lovely holiday. The house is great, plenty of room and lovely but equipment not brilliant. We couldn’t find a broom, only a pretty ineffective hoover, no jugs, broken sunshade, rubbishy barbecue and the washing up machine didn’t work very well despite putting in salt and rinse aid. But the house is very comfortable and it is a perfect place for a family holiday."
