"We have just returned from a three night stay at The Rabbit's Warren. The little development of cottages set around a central courtyard was very pretty. Inside the warren was well equipped, and we really appreciated the milk waiting for us in the fridge and the other thoughtful touches around the cottage. The design and decoration were well thought out. Although there is underfloor heating which heated the place beautifully, it was nice to have the log burner in the lounge. We loved the rabbit theme throughout and found the place perfect for exploring the lovely countryside of Hampshire, and not too far to go into the New Forest (once you drag yourself away from petting the pony and goat in the adjacent flied!)We made use of the pool sauna and steam room in the country club, but found the pool a bit on the chilly side. It would have been nice to have towels provided there, or be told in advance to bring swim towels, as we had to take ours from the bathroom. The only other little moan is that the rabbit warren bathroom door sticks on the flooring (just needs a little planing). Overall we loved this little retreat and would definitely come back again."

"We used this cottage as a base to visit old friends and familiar haunts. It was beautifully furnished with high quality furniture and although it was very small (one bedroom, one bathroom and a combined kitchen/diner/lounge) it was very comfortable. In fact the only slightly negative comment we can make is that there was no outdoor seating as the garden was mostly lawn, but the bi-fold doors to the lounge enabled us to enjoy the warm evenings. We understand that the owners have not had this property for very long and we have no doubt that future reviews, will be excellent. We would have liked to make it 4.5 but for the lack of outdoor seating, but really this place is just about as good as it gets."

"We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage it was superbly equipped with everything you needed for a self catering stay, a home from home. As a family of five there was plenty of room and the three bathrooms was an asset when all getting ready for a visit to the excellent Horse and Jockey Pub just two minutes up the road (a very busy road I add so be careful) we would definitely stay again and would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family. It is well situated for Portsmouth Historical Dockyard and all that goes with it and also Gun wharf shopping centre brilliant!! Bournemouth just 45min away if you want the beach. Plenty of shops near by for stocking up on groceries."

"The cottage was in lovely condition and fairly spacious. It was very warm and we struggled to keep it cool, even turning the thermostat right down. We also found the hot water in the shower ran out quite quickly - there wasn’t enough for two showers in a row. Other than that we thought it was ideal. The honesty tuck box was a lovely touch! We didn’t use the gym but did use the pool. It’s fair to say it’s a little tired, but was fine for a few lengths and a quick sauna! Although there’s not much to do in the immediate vicinity, there’s quick access to Portsmouth, Southampton and the New Forest, as well as Bournemouth and Winchester a little further afield."
