"We loved staying at Sundance. On our first day, we were welcomed by the friendly owner who lives on the site. She gave us the benefit of her extensive knowledge of the local attractions. The cottage itself was spacious, comfortable and well laid out. The kitchen was fabulous and well-equipped with every cooking-knife, gizmo and coffee-maker (with beans supplied) that you can imagine. There were bowls (glass, ceramic and plastic), tupperwear boxes (for picnics) and all the kit you would need for meals big and large, simple and sophisticated. The hot-tub was lovely when coming home from a hot walk and the swimming pool - ahh so nice and refreshing on a hot day. We were spoilt for choice. The only down side is the road noise from the A30 which runs a few 100 metres away and can be heard with the windows open. However, the upside of our proximity to the road is the speed with which we were able to get out and about. No long drive down narrow, windy roads to get here and there. Ohh and did I happen to mention the pool table, darts room and gym?... We would happily come back here again."

"We are a family of six adults and one eight year old and stayed at Honey Pippin for one week. The house was very clean; the rooms were of a good size, and the kitchen was well equipped. We found having only two bathrooms a bit of a problem as we needed to timetable use of them between the six adults. This was particularly a problem for the couple sleeping on the top floor with only access to the house toilet and a small basin on the same floor. Minor problems with the coffee machine were sorted quickly. The hot tub was great but the pool fairly cold, despite it being heated. There was plenty of space to play games and the local pub, which serves food, was near enough to walk within ten to fifteen minutes. The owner was friendly and happy to provide hints and tips on places to visit in the area and provide a BBQ to use."

"We enjoyed staying at The Coach House and loved Topsham. The house was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable with lovely crisp bed linen. The garden and grounds are great and children would love exploring them. There was everything needed if you decided to make a meal but we ate out all week and were spoilt for choice when choosing on a venue, we tried them all and there were no disappointments, Topsham has great pubs and restaurants to choose from all only a 5/10 minute walk away from the house ,so no car needed. We hope to return and enjoy another holiday at the house."

"A nice, characterful converted barn with a small shower room located in a rather scruffy farmyard. Barn has been refurbished to quite a high standard however could be cleaner. The barn has a comfortable bed and decent bedding but towels were hard and there is an excessive, mishmash of unnecessary kitchen crockery which needs sorting out - we sorted out 15 chipped mugs! No extras were available in the barn i.e. hairdryer, DVD player or iPod dock etc. which may disappoint some guests."

"This property exceeded our hopes and expectations, helped by unbelievable April sunshine every day. The Coach House ticked all the boxes for our family of 6 adults plus 2 young granddaughters. The on-site parking was a definite bonus in the quaint but busy little town of Topsham, with it's superb eating, drinking and exercise facilities. We didn't need to use a car for the whole week, although trips to Dartmoor, Torquay added to a lovely holiday break. Thoroughly recommended."
