"A lovely base to stay and for dog walks. Good size living areas downstairs and a big kitchen. Two large size double bedrooms and two single rooms (not used) Two Sky boxes in the downstairs rooms to cover most of the basic channels you'll need. Property mainly let down but the poor parking. Driveway is totally useless, too small and needs to be much wider. We only managed to park safely on the road outside of the property from the Mon-Thurs. (Billed as two car spaces well only if you have micro cars. Front room sofa and one chair totally in need of replacing / or putting in more support very uncomfortable. For anyone with mobility issues large front step and back. No downstairs toilet but two upstairs. Microwave didn't work and reported Sat replaced with another old one Monday which helped a lot as the oven / hob was awful to use.Two hook hangers in the hall (both only fit to hang dog leads on as loose) some hooks under the stairs for coats but door to this area had a small catch so not ideal to use often. Back garden good size although three fence panels were in need of repair, garden overgrown and needed work.Hot Tub nice but very noisy and some jets not working, would be better enclosed in a Conservatory to reduce noise and heat lost. Overall we loved the base and the property with a bit of work could easily be made up to a 10 in no time, it seemed a tired property awaiting an upgrade but we still loved it as did the dogs. Off road parking / driveway needs to be wider is the urgent task and front room sofa replaced. Guests won't like the cooker oven/hob (takes ages to cook anything) and the place needs a better microwave (although the one brought in Mon got us by) and definately needs a stand alone mini oven."

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Sea Shell and we were not disappointed. This time instead of just the two of us and the dog, my daughter and son in law and the baby and their dog came for 6 days and my son for the weekend. There was plenty of room for all of us and the separate lounge/dining room was great for all the baby's toys etc and also gave us time apart. Once again i removed one of the gates as the car sensors hated it, but there was plenty of room in the road for 2 extra cars. The garden is a great space with the hot tub, which we did not get around to using, but the trees and shrubs could do with a good cutting back, but that is the gardner coming out in me. I would certainly recommend this property and we love the closeness of the park for the dogs and the beach for walks."

"This was our second visit to the area and this was the best accommodation we have stayed in. It was nice to be met by the owner Mr Dove who showed us around and made sure we knew where everything was. Also the best welcome pack and something for our dog, which was very thoughtful. This was well worth the money we paid, our only adverse comment was that the sofas and one chair were not as firm as we like them to be, however the bed in the front bedroom was extremely comfortable. If you drive a larger vehicle then parking on the front drive could be an issue, as it was a tight squeeze for my Focus. Its a great location for visiting the area and is very close to the sea front which has some good doggy walking parks en-route. We would stay again if in the area."

"An excellent house that suited our purpose of a quiet weekend. The local area is about 200 meters from th sea and during the winter months dogs are allowed on the beach. The house had a new hot tub which was a bonusDownsideBoth toilets are upstairs unlike a more modern house and the water pressure drops alarmingly when another tap or shower is turned on or the toilet is flushed. An annoyance when 2 people are in residence but a source of concern with a family I imagine UpsideSpacious, great garden, dog friendly a fantastic owner and host, great entertainment package including SKY in both downstairs rooms. Parking is easy for 1 carand there is good off street parking. Washing machine tumble dryer and dishwasher are all nearly newRecommended"

"Sea Shell House ticked all the boxes for our family. Having a separate dining room and lounge (both with sky tv) was perfect for us although the sofa and armchairs could do with a bit more padding. However, the location (right near the beach and park) was ideal and the big enclosed garden a bonus. This is a very spacious property with a filled in straight carpeted staircase and handrail - the description did not mention this but for us was a "must". Very spacious bedrooms and bathroom with a separate loo - no downstairs toilet. Sadly we did not have time to make use of the hot tub but will next time as we will definitely be returning. With family in the area it made a great base."
