What our customers are saying about our Pet Friendly Cottages In Eglingham To Rent.
Mr Townsend - verified booking
"The central-heating thermostat is... guesswork, at best. No instructions, and it seems to keep on resetting itself every few hours. Not a massive inconvenience or hassle, but... not a smooth hassle-free experience either. For me personally, none of the sofas were overly comfortable - again, not a massive problem, but a constant niggle. And finally, if you (Sykes and/or the property owner) are going to make the renter get £100 in cash for the 'housekeeping bond', at least make the effort to collect it. Or just sack off the requirement completely. Either way. But making *such* a big deal about it (it's on every confirmation, and on the description page on Sykes) and then not bothering about it again just makes it feel like "Well, that was pointless and annoying"."
Mrs Julie Crawford, Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire - verified booking
"We had a great time. The apartment we booked was everything we hoped for, nicely furnished, well equipped and very cosy. There are plenty of great places to visit and not too far away. We went to Alnwick Gardens, and did the Farne Islands tour, Bamburgh Castle is most imposing. The beach in Beadnell is lovely, with plenty of wild life attracted to the area. The RSPB hut is a must visit for bird watchers. The village is pretty and the locals very friendly. The Craster Arms serves great food, has a really good atmosphere and has live music on a weekend. We would definitely go back and recommend to our family and friends. "

"We have just spent a fabulous week in this delightful cottage. The cottage has a picturesque cottage garden with a burn running at the bottom, fantastic for relaxing and listening to a babbling stream. The cottage is beautifully presented and fantastically equipped, it is superbly clean and comfortable. It is set in an idyllic woodland setting surrounded with amazing wildlife. The location is great for visiting Bamburgh Castle , the beach, Alnwick and Berwick."
Mrs Nicola Mitchell, York, - verified booking
"The location was amazing - literally a minute walk to beautiful beaches. The house was well equipped and comfortable. Best equipped kitchen with lovely big pans made cooking for 7 easy - we did not eat out at all as my son has a nut allergy so it is easier to cook ourselves which is often a struggle in rented holiday cottages but not here. The big fridge freezer was very useful. Lovely secure garden. Hope to come back next year as we had the best holiday ever."
Mr George Smith, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear - verified booking
"This cottage is as you would expect on a working farm, the movement of vehicles was not disturbing in the least, the sound of the animals was so refreshing, the night sky was unbelievable; as good as it comes! The farm also has its own water supply which he should bottle; better than any bottled water I have ever tasted. The wood burning stove was massive with an endless supply of logs, and to top it all of the farmer is a nice friendly chap. "
